Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

Anyone know a ballpark timeframe to move up for each career-level? I'm sure it depends on passing training, certifications etc...
You can search by facility to give you a time frame estimate. It’ll vary greatly depending on terminal compared to enroute. Plus, you’ll have to take into account the wait to start training, staffing levels, etc.

Do people normally get class dates this quickly?

I was anticipating a wait time of at least 2 months between completing the CIL and a getting a class date. I'd actually prefer having at least a couple months before my class starts. I'm not really in a rush right now...

Seems like the trend has been leaning towards faster hires. Last year was pretty fast and besides the shutdown this year has been even faster.

I only gave a list for ongoing issues. For me, I see a dermatologist and use some topical pimple meds. I didn't think they would care about the antibiotics I took for one ear infection when I was 4 years old.

you listed a skin cream and they still asked you for a list of prescriptions (from your pharmacist)?

My boss told me today that he received the questionnaire in the mail today. He wished me luck and sent it back. I hope this means I'm getting somewhere with my security clearance.
I hope a USMC veteran who's never been arrested or filed for bankruptcy isn't a national security threat. /s

Yeah my job received it last week, hopefully it means we're getting close to a FOL

They were prescriptions so I listed them. I then received a form that my doctor had to fill out telling of side effects of the meds. They did not ask for a list from my pharmacist. Other than that I had no health issues.

Got a call to set up an in-person interview though none of my references have gotten anything. Should be pretty straightforward I am imagining because I do not have anything crazy in my background.
