At least you guys are hearing stuff from your medical. Mine hasn’t even responded in close to 2 weeks. ?♂️ Oh well, waiting it is.

I just email until I can't take it any longer. I don't believe phone calls are necessary. People should be trusted to use their email. I know that's not true, but the world is a better place when you trick yourself into believing it.Have y’all tried calling?

I started to, but once it kicked onto a voicemail service, I didn’t really see the difference between my voice and my email. Both are left alone until they can get around to it.
When you leave a voicemail your MED POC will call you back as soon as they can.
I’m gonna do that too. It’s been 5 weeks which I know is normal but all these people getting fols after like 2 weeks is making me antsyTrue, but the same goes for the emails. Either way, I might leave a voicemail on Monday or Tuesday if I haven’t heard anything yet.
As soon as they can isn’t within 3 weeks for me I guess. Radio silent in all capacities now for me. I’ve called, emailed, cc’d the medical applicants email, emailed my hr poc who told me to email the medical applicants email. If I were told my stuff was received and with the FS or that they needed time to review it I would understand. I even got transferred to one of my med poc’s coworkers who also said she would leave a message herself with my callback since it was so long with zero response. That came up short as well. If I didn’t pry I wouldn’t have found out that they somehow lost or ignored my first email with my requested records that I attached. I’m not new to government bullshit, but this is a new low. When you leave a voicemail your MED POC will call you back as soon as they can.

Yeah I'm in the same boat as well with BO as my HR POC. I finished up everything on 3/25 so a little bit later, but it's been radio silence for the most part from them. Might reach out next week for an updateI haven’t gotten any emails/calls ever since getting a call about having to redo my drug test on 3/5, which I went to do on the same day. I did my medical 2/26, released eqip 2/28, MMPI2 3/5.
Anyone have BO as their HR POC?
The regions seem a little weird as it is. Like you’d think SW would include California but that’s western pacific. Oklahoma Texas etc are SW... for FS at least. Idk about the hr pocs and whatnotFWIW, when I took (and passed) the ATCOV on Tuesday, I was told my medical is being done through the southern region and I live in NY so there's that...
I know the FAA pays per diem for the night before classes, but does anyone know if we get to stay the night training is complete and get travel per diem the following day?
Per diem is paid out until the day you pick your facilities. I moved out the day we picked, I was on the road by noonI know the FAA pays per diem for the night before classes, but does anyone know if we get to stay the night training is complete and get travel per diem the following day?
Yea I've seen that before, but I remember someone saying you have a certain number of extra days you can take off if you need to.on the facilities page in the resources, each facility has academy travel days listed. It's usually 4 or less. I THINK that is what you are talking about
I believe it's up to 64 hours of paid leave that you can use within your first two years at your new facility. If you're moving like across the country I would assume using all 8 days would be the most convenient.Yea I've seen that before, but I remember someone saying you have a certain number of extra days you can take off if you need to.
