Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ALLSRCE-61676

Just got done taking the MMPI-2 at Atlanta Center. The test sucked. End of story. The center was awesome though. The sup was super friendly and even let me sit down with the controllers for about an hour and listen in on the operations.
I did mine Tuesday there and everyone that was there to give a full tour was out that day so I just walked in for about 5 mins and left.

Just submitted my eQip, MMPI-2 submitted a couple weeks ago. I was wondering when I might hear back about these things? Anticipating an extended review of my security clearance and being placed in tier 2, but would also like to know ASAP if I'm on the receiving end of a miracle!

Is that because of the recent hiring bid?

Idk why my comment got deleted. I’d say to look at theMMPI Tier 2 thread and read how long it took for people to be cleared for tier 2. My personal opinion from what I read was that it was roughly a year or more.

Mind if I ask when you submitted all of your stuff? My last thing was the mmpi last Monday and I'm wondering what time frame I'm looking at..
I saw another post in here or in the ATO-19-ATCEXP bid that they recommend waiting 45 days prior to calling to find out. Many found out much sooner than that for their score on the MMPI. Worth a shot to your POC to see if you're in luck. I think some were notified immediately after taking it

No news is good news for the MMPI, just make sure you complete your security and your medical requirements exactly as written. My experience is if you happen to be lucky enough to be able to put "No" for any sort of complicated questions (Did you travel abroad? Medications? Etc.) you will be processed quickly. Otherwise you will take some time as OPM or the FAA investigate you further and may ask for more information.

Anyone know what kind of working the investigator asked your references.
Should just be a questionnaire to verify employment and character.

Basically does the employer know who you are, have you been performing satisfactorily, knowledge of any crimes committed, and would they recommend you to hold a national security clearance, oh and do you have any mental health issues that they know about.

I was offered a 4/14 class date for terminal originally but needed to push it back for graduation and plans afterwards. I had the option of 6/23 or 7/9 class dates for terminal and I chose the 7/9 class date.

Wait...it sounds like June and July are all terminal?

No, the "people who know you well" references.

Why do you anticipate tier 2? I’m just honestly curious.

All I have left is my Medical on Monday and my drug test on Wednesday and that will be everything! I’m just hoping my lower back injury where I used muscle relaxers for and got injections (that is now resolved) doesn’t put me in tier 2. I run and lift weights 5 times a week and I’m ready to work so please let me get started!!
