I’d prefer the union take the safety route by reducing the potential for myself and other BUEs from being exposed to unnecessary risk and potentially dying. It’s not a few hundred. It’s 25% of the workforce and the union. If the faa was doing this it’s one thing but it’s the people that our supposed to represent our interest that seems to be pushing it.
It’s possible that different parts of the union want different things. And I don’t fault people that feel this way. But one fairly large group is getting no information on what the plan is after 4 months.I’d prefer the union take the safety route by reducing the potential for myself and other BUEs from being exposed to unnecessary risk and potentially dying.
Fixed it for ya!The entitlement is REAL in this CAREER FIELD

That's the thing with a labor union. We collective bargain and negotiate for what's best for the biggest portion of the group. I'm pretty shit at math but I'm pretty sure the health and safety of the 75 percent (and their families) is larger than the 25 percent not training and just worried about pay. It’s not a few hundred. I can tell you every single essential trainee that's currently working at my facility I've talked to about this isn't complaining much. There may be a few, but they are in the minority. Why is there always someone out there thinking that just because they feel strongly about their opinion that it MUST be shared amongst their peers? It's the same 2-3 trainees on here constantly saying that ALL trainees are just clamoring to get back to work. Not this guy!!! Loving my free vacation. Worst part is if this was 2021 and covid hit, those same people complaining would be CPC's arguing the other side.

Stop those from being mandatory and you’ll have your real number.....I would assume 80% or so of trainees want to get back at it. Source: Official FAA Zoom E-Learning
It’s a big enough number that they should at least acknowledge their frustrations. That's the thing with a labor union. I say that as a member of that 25 percent. Ya I'd like my other half of my raise I was expecting to alresdy have. But the long term health and safety of my family takes priority.
Plus ya, this schedule is dope.
This comment makes me so mad. Mad because I didn’t think of it. I’m going to put on my best sundress, my most fancy lipstick, and take you out for a *nice* steak dinner. (Don’t tell my wife)Worst part is if this was 2021 and covid hit, those same people complaining would be CPC's arguing the other side.
There’s also the fear of being furloughed. Which no one has really don’t anything to explain why you shouldn’t be worried about. I know it’s far fetched. But it certainly enters your mind.
