My sup told me training is suspended indefinitely.

Suspended indefinitely? Isn’t that just a fancy way of saying “furlough”?

Management at work said the face mask/face shield “study” ( ? ) wasn’t going well and they didn’t expect training to resume any time soon. I hope they are wrong! Anyone hear differently about the study?

More than likely just another excuse to try and hang on to 5/10 or 5/5 a little longer. If surgeons can cut into someone’s heart for 18 hours while wearing those things, a controller can wear one looking at a scope.

A SURGEON CAN ONLY KILL ONE PERSON. A CONTROLLER CAN KILL 400. OR 80 DURING THE PANDEMIC.

Honestly, as a high risk on excused absence I still a couple of things happening:
-Masks/Face Shields/ what have you will inevitably become mandatory
-Training will not resume until such a time that traffic dictates for "meaningful" training and until they solve the issues with close proximity
-I expect no movement for high risk people to return until (my personal thought) November/December at the earliest since discussions about them are not even being held so expect to remain on excused absence

There are a couple more but I suspect anymore information might result in the... Spanish Inquisition
