I believe Stinger started the thread, then some people called for a lock, then #1349 locked it, then Stinger unlocked it, then someone else dared Stinger to re-lock it, and he did.

I’m a believer in masks and think the face shield thing is stupid. Definitely not something to hold up training over. We’re not sneezing in each other’s faces, if you have a cough you stay home.

You have to look at it from big picture. What happens if an entire facility goes down because Covid spread through it? That’s what’s trying to be avoided. That’s far more likely to happen the more people are in the building.

In the last month ZJX, P31, ZMA maybe 2x maybe one or 2 more.

Let’s just remember trainees not at work are on life support. Once that timer runs out it’ll be square 1 after furloughs, no question. The time even for a small facility to get someone through training will probs be a year.

I forgot Eglin RAPCON went down as well for a full day I think. Makes me wonder how many military facilities and contract towers have had to shutdown.

I dunno but until they certified controllers start wearing masks it’s hard to take their concern seriously.
