So you believe a president and Congress who have added $8 Trillion to the federal debt in 3.5 years suddenly care about deficits? Makes sense if you don’t think about it.
I they don’t care. They are all business people who have gotten rich off others. Watch if they get voted out how many govt contracts they end up with.

I'm not trying to spread rumors, but I'm pretty sure someone is asking questions about why people are being paid to sit at home. Again, why do you think the Zoom meetings were created?

You’re doing a pretty good job of spreading misinformation for someone who isn’t trying.
I don’t think he’s wrong. The Zoom classes popped up almost overnight with zero implementation guidance other than “start them ASAP.” Every trainee and instructor thinks they’re useless. It’s pretty clear it’s intended to be busy work.

Nope, and that’s why I don’t speculate when I have no idea what I’m talking about. I gotta get off of here, Its time to drink some beer.
But there’s a difference between speculating and coming to a common sense conclusion. There’s only two realistic options for why the Zoom classes came about.

1: Someone at the top, out of the goodness of their heart, decided something needed to be done to help all the trainees keep their knowledge sharp. They were so excited about it, they didn’t have any course or curriculum guidance and just said said “do it” and start as soon as possible.

Or 2: It’s busywork.

Now what would be speculation is what the purpose of the busywork is. Was someone just pissed about a bunch of trainees getting an “indefinite vacation” and decided people had to do some type of work? Or were furloughs being discussed somewhere and this was the solution to avoid them by having trainees “work from home?” We just don’t know. There’s no communication on what’s being discussed at the national level so all we have is speculation on this front.

I forgot to post this last week from a regional email

“We continue to await much anticipated guidance on the resumption of OJTI. Please be assured the Agency and NATCA are working to ensure the safety and health of all employees, especially when it comes to resuming OJTI. Despite the MOU on face mask usage, we continue to remain status quo.

Stay safe, stay healthy and thank you for all that you do!”
