this tweet pretty much sums up how I feel about the Disney trilogy. I enjoyed rogue one and solo too.

I"ll see that and raise you "Admiral" Holdo and her terrible command style. "You are ruining the plan." You mean the plan you did not tell anyone due to "reasons" and then act surprised when someone stages a mutiny, as the fleet is decimated by the Dreadnought, taking the initiative to come up with a solution? Or how you constantly and proverbially kicked a supporting character in the nuts to "advance" feminism while pulling one of the most retarded maneuvers in the "history" of the Disney franchise thereby destroying any and all space battle lore...

I have all the fucking books without that "Legends" trash stamped on the cover...

One of my favourite moments in one of the books.. "Honor is a fools prize. Glory is of no use to the dead." -Darth Revan I love how Bane took that philosophy and ran with it. When Bane arrives on the planet for the final battle, and there's a dying Sith Knight, he says words to the effect of, "you missed the battle, Bane. It was glorious." Bane replies with "the dead have no use for glory" and proceeds to crush his head with a rock.

I was a year behind. Battlefront came out my freshman year, 2004, and definitely was why i quit the soccer team and not the excessive running for a goalie

For decades Star Wars fans had so much wonder about how truly powerful Luke became, how wise, what he had been doing. Next thing we see is that he was gonna chop his little nephew down in his fucking sleep for having a sith wet dream, and he was drinking from alien tiddies. Then he does a force vision and fucking disappears!? They fucking desecrated his story, and retro actively ruined so much. But like, I don’t even care. ?

We went from “A New Hope” to “the Jedi should die out” rather quickly. If memory serves, Mark Hamill talked shit about what Disney was doing to his own character until they hit him with a cease and desist.
Also to the guy who mentioned the domain error, google SWG Emulator.
SWTOR has an excellent story but that is about it and after the millions BioWare spent on it to compete with World of Warcraft, it essentially gave EA complete control over the studio.

HOLD THE FUCKERS ACCOUNTABLE. The only reason they can sit there and hide behind Mitch is because the Republican Senators voted to make him Senate President. It would take a small handful of Republican Senators caucusing with the Democrats and they'd be able to elect a different Senate President. They could work out a deal where they put in a more moderate Republican. But they don't. They're all equally complicit. Don't let them get away with it.

I feel like this is what happens when "woke" culture takes over movies. They were so concerned with strong female representation they failed to write a decent story with a strong female in it. Anyone who has had a strong mangement/leadership (male or female) can you tell you these traits have nothing to do with biological sex, but the leadership itself. One of my biggest pet peeves in movies.

Without even knowing it, you've identified the major issue with the new series. She never asks for help, nobody can relate. You can disguise it as 'woke' or 'too feminist' but deep down it's just poor, unrelatable writing. Luke had to surf around and train, then the kid in the prequel needed tons of help. What do we have now-a super hero movie. Someone so powerful she just tries harder-no major training, no character development, just an I feel like I can do this. A quick search for star wars rule 34 really breaks down where the writers messed up

He was down “Bigly” in 2016 too. I wouldn’t trust polls after what happened four years ago. Every 4 years I’m reminded of the South Park Giant Douche/Turd Sandwich episode and it’s always relevant.
