If the democrats could compromise on two issues I really think they would bring plenty of republicans to their side in situations like this.

If the democrats conceded and gave some form of timeframe to when abortion is no longer allowed, say like 5 or 6 months. Abortion isn’t going anywhere and most people know that. It’d be enough of a compromise it would attract people who are pro life.

Additionally the left would need to stop their big push on making ARs and high capacity magazines illegal. I think a lot of pro gun people are open to some changes but outright banning and making those two things illegal to own is just too far for many.

Obviously there’s plenty of argument to be had with those two issues but in terms of people not voting for Biden I’d say those are the two biggest points people on the right don’t budge much on.

People give way to much thought to the person. Your electing an entire platform and government. You can’t like the environment and pro choice and billionaires paying taxes and then say that trump is the lesser of two people.

This is so true. It’s like those videos where they give quotes of Biden to liberals but they are actually from Biden. The people interviewed say, “despicable , someone who says that should never be allowed to run, let alone be president” and then are like, “well even if it was Biden then I’ll still vote for him, because ya know, he’s just great”.

You can find videos like that for both sides of the aisle, all over the place.

Or my favorite, completely abandoning the #MeToo movement and dquality for women in sexual assault issues because Biden got accused. Best part was the quotes literally saying people were choosing to ignore her because it was Biden, tribalist bullshit.

Maybe you can’t say he is the lesser but plenty of people are planning on doing exactly that. A lot of issues like the environment or immigration for example aren’t viewed as a belief that is core to who they are as a person. Those views are much easier to compromise on.

LMAO. What are you talking about. Abortion is already illegal past the second trimester and for the most part midway through the second trimester anyway. Republicans, when they aren't trying to ban it outright, are trying to ban it after six weeks—around or before the time when most women will even notice they're pregnant in the first place.

Also, whatever alleged blackmail the russians have on Trump can't really affect him at this point unless it's him killing a person and eating their flesh or engaging in pedophilia. Like he's shrugged off everything he's done so far, including these tax records which tells us what most people thought anyway: he's using loopholes in tax system like every other rich person out there, what's so bad that he thinks he can't recover from the blackmail?

Trump is an adulterer, but honestly that’s one of the less shittier things about him. If it did exist I wouldn’t be surprised (somewhat disgusted though). I’d rather he not sell out American interests though

Harris believes the timing should be left to the woman. People on the right obviously don’t like that and thus many probably wouldn’t vote Biden on that issue alone.
