We had the 124 leave today after a couple day stay. Of course I can’t see it but working them on radar is kinda cool if you like all your arrivals slow T 250kts 40 miles out for some fucking reason.

Yeah I don’t see that many cool planes at my tower. Most interesting thing I’ve seen is probably the SOFIA 747.

We worked the AN124 and AN225. I’ve seen the TU open skies plane like a year ago

If you ever get the chance, pop a ride on the An-12. Worth it. Managed to swing a ride (obviously not CONUS) on one that still carried the CCCP registration from an Eastern European country to Minsk back in 2014.
