I hate it when people say this. You mean most drugs that they actually catch? Convenient that they catch a lot of drugs in places with a lot of security.... Can't quantify what they let pass the border. Other than the thousands of people that are dying from said drugs that were most definitely not walked or driven across that wide open desert with no security measures. People here only die from those American made drugs.

It's incredibly naive to think that mass amounts of imported drugs aren't coming from places with little to no security measures. Do I think a "wall" would stop it? Nope! But does make sense to at least start there. 5-10 billion is such a small amount in the grand scheme of things. Especially when it's the we can always print more money people that are against it. Worse that comes from it is a few American temporary jobs and an ugly ass hunk of metal that might slow someone down just enough for CBP to catch them. Or not! Either way, total waste of time argument and the most glaring example of hypocrisy from the dems the last 4 years. Obama built the cages. Dems have been okay with walls all the way up till it became a campaign promise for the other side.

On another note, the people were robbed in 2016 with garbage ass candidates and 2020 is even worse. Two creepy ass old dudes. One is going to last a year tops and hand the reigns over which is just insulting to the whole primary process which was again rigged against Bernie. The other is an outright crook who is painfully embarrassing to represent us on the world stage. This year should be Bernie vs Nikki. Give people choices they don't have to vomit over making.

The DNC won that court case, they can legally rig their primaries and their followers will swallow whatever they tell them too. At least there is a facade versus Ted Cruz licking the boot after Trump talking shit in his wife. Vermin Supreme....the friendly fascist...

Haha they know? Really? So we are just sitting back doing nothing? Or are we just waiting for the entire law enforcement field to get defunded finally so we can ask social workers to go ask the nice cartels to please stop. Come on man. Don't let yourself go so far left or right that the Kool aid starts to taste good.

Do you really think a wall that immigrants with nothing but the clothes on their back can jump is going to stop the drug cartels, the most resourceful and violent organizations in the world? Have you seen the tunnels/planes/submarines these guys have created? We might as well just spend the money lobbying for decriminalizing drugs, it'd be a better use of the money in the long run. (I am fiercely anti-legalization but I admit that it would basically destroy most cartels overnight)

Not looking at this issue threw a political lens just logistics. One individual who manages to get through security here and there is not responsible for the mass deaths going on. It's 80% greedy ass American doctors/pharma and 20% shit seeping through the border. Again, a wall probably won't do shit. But it is not even close to being worth the fight that it's gotten.

This isn't wrong. The huge uptick in heroin usage is directly related to big pharma negligently pushing docs to prescribe narcotics.

The war on drugs is a farce, and the only reason they keep it going is to feed the prison industrial complex and to keep certain "undesirables" down. Again, look to Europe. Many of those countries have largely reduced thier overdose deaths and drug crime in general thru decriminalization and treating it as the disease it is and not a crime.
