You make more than $400k?
If you think your taxes will go down under a Biden administration when you make over probably 80k your dreaming. Their whole platform is take from people to give to other people and I guarantee you they have many a rich person/businesses donating to their campaign and they won’t want to get taxed more. I can make ya a tax plan that sounds great too, until you try and implement it.

So if Trump wins, you’ll be fine with losing the Union, the cushy pay scales, the better than most of America benefits, all because you’re worried Biden *may* come after a few of your guns?
Shit, our own freaking union was advocating to throw us under the bus vis-a-vis privatization prior to Trump. I don't know if I need to be afraid of him more than them.

"Cushy" is relative. Some facilities are cushy, some are on point, plenty are underpaid.

You're describing both parties here. The "other people" just happens to be different for dems and reps.

Yeppppppp.

If you think either party apparatus has real American's priorities and needs in mind when they formulate policy you've been fooled. It's a matter of who gets the crumbs and who they target to vote for them.

Agree, I was alluding to that with the dems having many a big business donor, not just the evil pubs. I personally think either way the middle class suffers. Guess I’d rather suffer AND keep mah pea shooters.

How do you enjoy the things in your life outside of work? Is it through the funds associated with said employment? Or do you have some other means and just use the FAA for benefits (I’ve run across a couple of people like this).

doesn’t matter what the policy is, if your pay is slashed again by a hefty margin, you’re going to have a harder time spending X amount on whatever it is you do outside of work.
In my off time I utilize my uninspected and mollusk ridden outboard river boat to play puddle pirate with my fetishized M16A2 that fires 50 caliber clips at 5000 rounds per second towards effigies of Hillary Clinton guiding the puppet hand that is Joe Biden on an unstoppable march towards affordable healthcare and a more even morality of governance.

Yup. Again, my pay raises have been their best since joining the FAA. All that crap may happen, or may not. Talk about losing money, who is going to compensate me for my expensive guns they are going to ban? Because Uncle Sam isn’t going to reimburse me $3,000 for the rifle. They’ll just take it, and/or turn me into a criminal with the flick of a pen. Guess you’re okay with that but I’m not.

Like the ATF recently classifying a Honey Badger pistol from Q as a gun that needs a retarded $200 tax stamp (Yes it’s literally a fucking stamp that says $200 on it) making all the owners of it criminals until they can file paperwork and wait for a year plus (our government at its finest) to be able to use the firearm again.
Your pay raises that come in the spending bills that originate in the dem house?

Who won the deb... I mean the town hall-off?!?

Anyone else think it was cringe when trump begged for suburban women to vote for him

I don’t see what his goal is when he does that. I live in a suburb and I enjoy this kind of life but I don’t think that if low income housing is built nearby that somehow my city is going to transform in to Watts overnight. I used to live in apartments in one of the wealthiest cities in the country and we had a low income housing unit nearby and you wouldn’t have known it unless you looked into it.

The point is that a career can be changed if necessary, but ruining a lifestyle is permanent.

I bet a majority of people in this career can’t find a job anywhere remotely close to the benefits and pay of this one, so it’s ruining a lifestyle for them as well

They should vote based on that, then. I’m not in the same boat, so I’m voting based on how my personal lifestyle will be changed.

Most of us would be working at Walmart if we didn’t have this job.

I'm always surprised how screwed the majority of this workforce is if this wasn't there job. Surprising for a group meant to have plan A thru H in mind.
We use all of our brain power keeping the airplanes apart and arguing on the internet.
