I mean it appears we mostly agree aside from how aggressive we need to be about it.I don’t disagree with any of that, but as automation increases, people who are needed to maintain that automation increases as well, even if they don’t completely equal the labor needed before the automation occurred. Regardless of any automation, the drive to become better than how you are now needs to be promoted and encouraged, by government subsidy if necessary.
The way I see it, as you just said, sure, jobs will increase in tech services, but there's not as many guys maintaining as there is machines, or there'd be no point to the tech to begin with, coupled with rising population, still equals a shortage of jobs. And just becasue the jobs aren't there doesn't mean the goods still aren't being produced and sold, it just means the people who own the factories and the trucks don't have to pay someone a wage, furthering the wealth gap and keeping us mortals down where we belong.
So it's either mass population control so we can maintain capitalism and everyone be gainfully employed or some form of quasi-socialism. Your choice lol.
