I guess I just don’t equate verbal harassment the same as physical harassment, but that’s just me. One is clearly worse and more harmful than the other. I was raised in a “sticks and stones” society, but words really do hurt people as much as physical harassment in 2020 it seems.

It’s absolutely embarrassingly low, and I don’t know how to change it.

The key word is "like". Find someone "like" her who doesn't want your guns to be taken away.

Again, guns are not the big picture. We're talking about a system which is headed down a path where you'll have to sell your guns anyway in order to eat.

Again, willfully ignoring multiple accounts of orange man saying and doing creepy things. Like would you be totally cool with him barging into a changing room full of young girls "because he's seen it all before" if it was your daughter? How about moving on your significant other "like a bitch"? Totally cool with that? Would you leave your kid alone with a known friend and associate of Epstein, or really trust them to not be shady in other ways?

That's leaving out all the sexual assault allegations (which... fine, most stand as allegations and are arguable, so I'm not gonna go down that road, but they are there, and lots of them), and his own statements and photos with his own daughter coming off as very very wierd in a sexual nature at a minimum.

So you knew the second you saw some hair sniffing Biden was unelectable, and you could never ever in a million years vote for him, but for some reason Trump gets a pass? Again, I'm not excusing Biden in the least bit, but let's agree if you are applying the same standard to both candidates your point of view isn't passing the smell test.

Like I know what the deal is here, let's not make excuses, just say certain points of view you have on other topics override literally anything else of importance when it comes to politics and not make excuses and silly justifications.

True dat, her along with Pete. She’s cute in her own nerdy way, Joe and the Donald neither one are particularly likable. But guess what, it’s not Valentines Day. It’s what direction they want our country to head. Open borders, sanctuary cities, tax payer funded abortion, fewer jobs/weaker businesses (airlines), weaker military, energy dependence again, weak on China, no law and order, new green deal, higher taxes, ummm, a few more. Seems pretty straight fwd, but YMMV

I garanfuckingtee a full 70 percent of liberal/left politicians give zero fucks about guns outside of scoring political points and having to conform to a party platform.

Vermont gave us Bernie Sanders, who was very popular there, and Vermont is about as generous with gun policy as anywhere else rational last I checked.
 
The right doesn’t offer any solutions. If you want everyone to be better off you need to get some more of wealth to the rest of the people.

i really don’t give a shit about guns. I’d like them more restricted by that’s not really an issue I’m voting on.

But the only candidates that are willing to think about the actual big fundamental changes ahead of us are people like AOC.

is Biden this? Hell no. But he at least gets us away from the horrible direction we are currently in.

Learn to have some nuance breh. There's a difference between the epic fail that is marxist/leninist zeolotry, which yes is a big fat no go, and say the Nordic model where the people live happy, healthy, fulfilling lives at a good standard of living, with most if not all of the same rights and freedoms we enjoy here.

That's not including a couple of haven't really been tried decentralized models that aren't state socialism, but that's another bag of worms that requires elimination of state, but you got to get into big brain mode to really consider those.

This is largely a statement from people who don't understand the arguement at hand.

Similar to the "where do we stop" statement from those hesitant to adopt an idea.

The U.S. is wholeheartedly incapable of being a true socialist state such as Venezuela since we have property rights enshrined in out constitution that limit a governments command over such property.

Socialist policies though that seek to benefit the society as a whole are truly something you oppose?

If we didnt back those nordic countries with our military they would spend far more on their defense budget, and then we could spend more on healthcare. The only issue that pops up is what do we do when china and russia go all nazi germany on them and start grabbing them up? Its not like both of them arent already trying with china's 9 line island building escapades and russia snagging up chunks of other countries already.

We spend way too much on our military. Russia is never going to invade us because we can obliterate them with nukes. And vis versa

Finland seemed to do pretty well against the Russians all on their own about 80 years ago, what with thier highest rate of private gun ownership in Europe.

I don't see feeding the military industrial complex as a valid excuse to not take care of American citizens.
