Here's my preemptive "congratulations" to those of you who are fortunate enough to be selected and to see this process work.
You forgot the quotations around "work". But remember NATCA says that more people have moved through this than before it was implemented. I guess the 8 people with release dates when I showed up to my facility versus the 0 since they signed this MOU really illustrates that.

It's working alright... Just not in favor of members...
 
Good luck everyone. The waiting for this system is terrible lol. The last year plus waiting for the NCEPT to meet and list to be put up has taken its toll on me and the wife lol. If you aren't selected there is no closure. The waiting and hoping for the next round just begins anew.
 
Stop whining. If you wanted to move you'd pepper the top ten with ERRs. Or apply to N90 and get out quick....Oh wait
(In best Morpheus voice): What if I told you... That hasn't worked, either... Not yet, at least... N90 will take janitors from lvl8 and above bc they've emptied trash while the facility was running tripps...

It's also hard to pepper the top 10 when half of them won't take you or have zero possible gains

You forgot the part about "if you don't like it, there's the door" that's always the best way to finish making your point...

But seriously though, even if/when those of us "whiners" get picked up, it won't change our opinion on how this system does nothing but give the agency a scapegoat for their staffing crisis...
 
What is the staffing looking like for BHM? I don't think you will find anyone in the country that wants to go from and 11 to a 7. Considering the top of the band is 107k most people would lose out on the raises because they are at the top of that band. I would say most 10 are close or will be close in a couple years to the top of the level 7 band.
You're probably right, but you never know when someone just wants to come home. Staffing is looking good. Our actual CPC staffing is around 85%, but our projected staffing is around 100%.
