Starts at 20:00. I don't hear any takeoff clearance for the departure, but there's multiple overlapping streams so that doesn't mean anything.

Probably had last hours ATIS when they advertised Taxiway G as the departure runway. Controllers fault for not verifying.

i HIGHLY doubt that will be the worst of it when the dust settles. We will know soon.

We don’t know for sure it was the controllers fault, we will see what the investigation says.

FWIW the FAA is saying the Hawker took off without clearance.

BTW, if you lsiten to the audio its pretty clear an aircraft was not "taking off" and did not "take off". The plane was hit either back taxiing or LUAW'ing. There was no "cancel takeoff clearance" pr any kind of abort. The LC didnt even know they hit.

I saw the falcon. It’s clearly a departure vs arrival on crossing runways and milliseconds from both being scrap metal.

Time will tell as the investigation continues. Probably just lack of scanning/paying attention.
