We've got one declined offer already, that was fast!
Nah. I'm going home, closer to a lot of family. Cold feet, leaving a badass facility and sweet little city. Definitely bittersweet, all of my sisters live in denver and I was on for 3 facs there too. You guys should know these are life changing decisions!

Also... worth a mention I'm on my 3rd year of errs and yea I wanted this! Maybe I'll be a statistical wash going from a 6 to a 12. But here goes nothing!

Anyway good luck to all!!

NCEPT is working. "You people" may not want to admit it, but the more contingencies (and the more the FAA hires) the better this will pan out.

If you're stuck in level 5 nowhere with poor staffing, I'm sorry. But this MOU was about the entire country, and there are brothers and sisters that are now benefitting from a fair and transparent playing field.
Ugh. *raises hand slowly into the air* 🙁

These are totally life changing decisions! Like I got a place that was flooded by hurricane Harvey and the place I want to move was under water. I still want to go but all 3 communities that I love and kept looking at were under water or affected by flooding. I didn't think about the flooding and the actual neighborhoods before NCEPT on 9/7 because my ERR has been in for a year. Now I'm like... now what...

Gooooo. This is all also on my mind. If it helps any I've got friends in Texas that left here for there and now they're telling me I've lost my mind for second guessing myself. We got selected... (mind blown)

And there's also those who are likely locked into those 5s for their careers whereas before they could get out if they did their time. Guess there's people natca wants to help and ones they want to hurt?

That's good to hear 😀. And yes my mind is totally blown!

PS Tell Jen and Lukas HIIII (from roro)

Bingo. 3 hardships in less than a year as it stands currently. One of which went to a highly staffed facility and is now on to a 12.
Get a bunch of people to call and write everyone on the NCEPT panel and your RVPs. Tell them what's happening and suggest something to the effect of accepting a hardship prevents you from being eligible to transfer X amount of time.

It's hard to take any of these schmucks seriously when obvious failings are continually ignored.

Hi again 🙂
Talk to your ATM about getting a deviation or some sort of hold on your move until it clears
up some down here. They won't make you go into a disaster area.

They wanted BOS, A90, and PIT. And that's it. I didn't block any moves.
Pit could select one on the second pass to staff to 100%. But I see you are committed to going, good luck, we had a guy go there and check out in about a year maybe less... I'm sure it will be a good decision in the long run to get home and make tons of money!!!

That just screws people who actually need a hardship. I've been trying for months to try and get out since I have a medical condition that's made life pretty rough. Been trying the hardship route but getting push back and having to jump through major hoops, tried N90, ERRed to LAX. Nothing.

I guess I'm just entitled, or the process is working, or whatever several people have said in this thread

I saw that! just texted her. She might be the conditional PIT pickup, which means the only 2 in our facility with valid ERRs might go! We have a trainee with 2 recs, supposed to checkout on scheduled checkride next week... good times all around. And yea, I just had a mini freak out about going back home. Eeeeek

If you don't mind me asking what makes he/her the conditional pick up for Pittsburgh? Still kinda learning the ropes of ncept.

And how will said person be notified when said pending selection is made? Old school style, sit around and wait for HR to call?

There is no way to know for sure if they are or not. And I'm guessing maybe this is part of the amendment to the old mou where they're staffing level 9 and below facs?

Does anybody else know? I've watched several ncepts take place and this is the first one where I see that scenario in the numbers breakdown. What does it meeeean?

Your facility can only release 1. The NCEPT will not select more then your facility can release.

NCEPT runs through the list of eligible facilities (for 9s and below to 100% Target) AFTER the initial placement round that covers the advertised gains. As seen with the people going to SEA, the people selected on during the 9s and below round are already listed in the selections list they recently released.

Still curious though. Anyone here from PIT and know what the pending selection from pit is? It's weird and I've never seen a facility get singled out like that on natca page. I know their swb was wrong, they have 30 cpc not 28. So my guess is they were actually eligible to release one. But I thought if your swb was out of date, shit out of luck for you this panel wait for next.
