Just wondering if they are going to start allowing people to push back dates or if it is on special cases. Seemed like in the beginning they wanted quick turn arounds, but now it looks like they are being lenient

What are you drinking on your way to the drug test? Just don't drink beforehand and show up slammed. This isn't so hard.

It's a pee test... Can you test for alcohol in a pee test?

Although controllers are routinely subject to drug and alcohol testing on the job...

Right now mine has been sitting on the flight surgeon's desk as of 2/25 or so. Would've been earlier but they requested some allergy related documents after my medical. Based on other posters it looks like the wait time is currently 1.5 months and counting for our flight surgeon. I've been told the WP flight surgeon has been on leave recently. Who knows how large that stack is :<

Found out today I was not approved for conditional security. My security POC said my file went to OPM for further review and I would have to wait for the full investigation before I could be cleared from security. Has anyone else gotten into this boat? I’m not worried because I have nothing bad in my finances criminal history is spotless and work history is solid. Had a lot of different jobs that were temporary while I was in college but other than that never been fired. Not sure what took my conditional away. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Someone else on here was in a similar situation it turned out that someone incorrectly filed a credit application misspelling his name and that set off the full investigation.
