is anyone else shocked at the low salary offer?

I know the announcement said it jus was not expected to be low balled like that.

Get through the academy then you’ll get a pay raise. Get through training and as you complete your training you’ll get pay bumps. Congrats on the TOL.

It's deceiving you'll be fine. Read up in the forums and you'll get an explanation as to how it works.

Anyone know of the best way to make a request to switch from terminal to enroute right now?

Reply to the same email address from which you received your TOL. It’s unlikely they’ll switch you but still worth a shot. They have moved ppl previously, but only on a couple of occasions.

So regardless of whether we are enroute or terminal we can just choose the closest airport to us?

Yes, its any FAA facility. It doesn't matter to them where you go.

You have to go to a facility to take the mmpi2. When HR contacts you for you clearance instructions just ask for the contact info for whatever facility is closest.

Well there is no fill in boxes for me one my acceptance letter and then the contact information sheet the fill in boxes are way off from where they should be.

I put my files into pdfescape.com filled them out and sent them in. HR said they looked good.

Clarification, on the Contact info sheet, you can right click the misaligned text boxes and hit Delete Object to remove them. Then just manually fill in the info with the text tool. Sign with the freehand tool.

Hey guys, I got a TOL and was selected for Terminal. Is there any possible way to switch to Enroute? Can I call them and ask? What's the likelihood that I will be able to end up at a higher level tower making decent money?

alright on to the next thing to worry about, i hear a lot of people get held up for awhile because of mmpi results. whats the short and skinny on this monster? all of the google results for people complaining about it are at least a few years old, is it still as much of an obstacle as they all make it seem?

As a lot of topics are cyclical, the best way to quickly search if you don't want to wait for a response is to put the topic in the search bar like "MMPI" then search by the heavy hitters who've been around for awhile such as
"MJ, Breakaway2000, Omegahare, UScolt45, CaptainObvious, Stinger, etc" Chances are you might find more detail in a prior post then a response.
