Question for those who have done the security portion, on the email it says to wait until you’ve mailed your fingerprints before starting the eQIP. I just mailed mine does it mean wait until she receives them or just until after they are mailed? Don’t want to screw anything up.
eQIP will take you an eternity, you can start it whenever. Timing is just a guideline. You could have started it prior to finger printing. They need both to complete your background investigation and telling people to do fingerprinting first prevents an extended wait on their end to complete this portion of your file.

@breakaway2000

I also forgot to mention and edited my last post, what about the signature of the officer/title? I just noticed that portion as I left the UPS store. They included a stamp of the police office and the phone number, etc. is that enough or do I need to redo it?

Im in no way and expert on how the FAA handles security clearances, but the instructions I got for Finger Print Cards states in bold "Official taking fingerprints must complete all identifying information in blank ink" first bullet- Signature of Official Taking Fingerprints, -second bullet Title and Address.
But you obviously got your cards from the PD so at this point its 50/50 I would suggest calling your rep and asking directly.
The ones I got from my local PD had signature with badge number for signature block.

They will contact you if it needs to be redone. If you do, it's not a big deal. At all. The most common reason people have to get them redone is if there is a smudge and the fingerprints are deemed unusable.

I'm assuming my HR rep is dealing mostly with terminal since I'm terminal right? I feel like almost everyone here is enroute except me which is why I've probably never seen my HR rep mentioned. Since there's less of us hoping my CIL comes by February. Also congrats to the guy who got a TOL today! I'd guess a few more will continue to trickle out as people decline spots.

So since I have no prior ATC experience, I have to go through the AT basics course. I was reading on my EODS that it is a five week course which is done in OKC. My question is, is the AT basics course separate from the academy training? Will I be in OKC for 5 weeks, come home, and then go back to OKC for the academy training?

No. Your basics course will be the first five weeks of training then you will go to either enroute or terminal training. No gap in between

Finished security information, the eQIP wasn’t as bad as I thought, definitely more information in there than I thought was necessary especially since my wife is a UK citizen, that opened a whole different section of questions. Including asking for her fathers green card which was a headache.

Took about 4 hours start to finish, if you’re waiting on your CIL I recommend getting a list of people together, at least 8 people and get their full names including middle name, addresses, phone numbers, years known and email addresses. Will help you out a ton in the long run!

Also, where did you get your fingerprints taken? I got mine at the police office and just noticed they did not include a signature or their title. Does that matter?
No, it doesn't matter, my fingerprints looked like shit and half the information was blank, my security rep said it was fine

How in the world is this process going so quickly for you lol. Who’s your HR rep? I need them

Personally, I don’t think it’s moving quicker for me than anyone else. I think it’s all about where you fell in the stack of TOL’s, I got my TOL on 12/27, responded 12/28, confirmation 12/29. Same as most people here.

I seriously think it’s just luck of the draw whether you got EODS and CIL this month or not.

Nope. Also Pool 2 OTS TOL received and confirmed 12/27

Same. Pool 1 received and confirmed 12/27. Granted my HR left last week. I called Aviation Careers and they said I’ll know when I get a new HR..

Received my EODS today, it is unreadable. Whole email looks like "=0A=09=0A=09=09=0A=09=09=09=0A=09=09= =09=09=09=09=0A=09=09=09=09=09=0A=09=09=09=09=09=0A=09= =09=09=09=09=09=0A=09=09=09=09=09=0A=09=09=09=09=09= =0A=09=09=09=09=09=09=0A=09=09=09=09=09=0A=09=09=09=09=09=0A= "
Could be because I'm using a MAC?

UPDATE: Used a windows computer and email was readable and links worked just fine.

Weird, I used a Mac and it worked just fine. I’m really curious what 0A equals though.

It equals zero, obviously. More upsetting is the fact that we will never know the value of A.

Oh, and it read fine on my Mac, too. That being said, I used mail on Safari, not my Mac's dedicated "Mail" app. Maybe the Mail app is causing issues for people?
