I completed my EODS and ATBASICS form last Friday and haven't received an email, only "approved" status on the EODS page. I hate worrying about this stupid stuff. What if my ATBASICS form got lost? WHAT IF IT GOT LOST?! I'M ALMOST 31!!!

Dude, chill. Nothing is going to happen, literally a couple of pages ago someone (breakaway I believe) even said they are invested in you once you get the TOL. They’re not out to screw you if you don’t respond they will make sure they get in contact with you whether email or phone call. Chances are you are getting a CIL soon because your EODS were approved but they can only send a select amount each month so you’ll have to wait until the next batch goes out.

Soo my HR rep is KG but my EODS was sent by another HR rep and then approved by a different HR rep. Is this the case with anyone else. Just curious if they assigned people to handle different sections of hiring process.

Does anyone know for the medical when they do the eyesight if they check what your eyes are, cause I have glasses and I'm blind as fuck without them, and I know that you get DQ'd if your shape of eye is really wonky
Maybe take a look at this Air Traffic Control Series 2152

"Terminal and Center Positions -- Applicants must demonstrate distant and near vision of 20/20 or better (Snellen or equivalent) in each eye separately. If glasses or contact lenses are required, refractive error that exceeds plus or minus 5.50 diopters of spherical equivalent or plus or minus 3.00 diopters of cylinder is disqualifying."

I was disqualified for ATC when I joined the Air Force because my eyesight was too bad without contacts, had -5.75 contact lenses. I have since had PRK to correct my vision.

I'm 87% sure you're kidding, but in case not, the age cutoff is only for the application. You can take as much time as you'd like now.

Yes, I'm just kidding. I know how the age cutoff works and I know no one is out to screw me. I'm also not trying to poke fun at anyone who panics a bit when something doesn't 100% mirror someone else's situation. I understand the twinge of unease - I'm trying to make sure I dotted my Is and crossed my Ts and "replied all" 1000 times over.

I super appreciate this forum and everyone who has chimed in!

If I am unable to find the fine amount for a negligent driving charge, which carries a minimum $250 fine, should I just include the information required under question 9 for the EODS? I guess I'd rather include it and realize it was $300 or under rather than not include it and then get called out if it's over $300.

Edit: Received EODS paperwork at 1501 EST today.

Yeah this is what I was worried about thanks. Hopefully my current glasses are accurate, I don't have insurance to make sure they are lol

Received CIL today @3pm MST.

How long after you guys got your CIL did you hear from your security POC to start the eqip?

EODS 1/12
CIL 1/25

BTW, does anyone else have issues typing replies on mobile? If i click on an autopredicted word it comes out messed up and when I click spacebar it'll sometimes add letters. For example, this is what my first sentence of this paragraph looks if I dont fix anything.

BtwB, does anyona e else have issues ttoing reoliesr on mobilem?

Nothing to do with the site, that all takes place on the device.

Does it for me too

I’ve read of Android having issues with keyboard predicted text. Might be the issue if that’s what you’re using.

Most of the site traffic is on mobile for what it’s worth.

Can confirm. Had some issues getting emails from my security POC. She called me a few days before the deadline to make sure I got the emails (which i hadn't) and has been great about keeping me updated on what i need to do. As long as they can get in touch with you some way they aren't gonna screw you over with technology issues/deadline issues

I wanna say it hasn't always been weird either not sure what the issue is with my phone.

I had a speeding ticket from 6 years ago that I paid over $300 for. I talked to my security POC about it and she told me to answer yes to question 9 and then explain it in the space given. She said it's better to include it rather than they find it during the security investigation and count it as falsification. I also asked her if it would affect my security clearance at all and she said no, something minor like a speeding ticket wouldn't affect it as long as I put it down and explained what happened.

I would say list it if it was only a speeding ticket. If your ticket was something more serious than speeding, you can try calling the DMV and/or the court to try to get more info about your ticket and see if you actually paid over $300. You can always reach out to your security POC as well for guidance.
