In the memory part, were there any numbers that were greater than 9? Like A=16 B=6 C=17?

Also, does anyone know what the pass rate is for the academy?

I was talking about the flashing numbers game and not the a= b= c= part. But for that part I believe that their weren't any numbers greater than 4 or 5. The tricky portion was remembering the equations. It starts out simple saying a=3 b=2 c=1, then it asks what they were in order. But the later parts it shows a=b/c b=2/c c=1.

How well do we have to do on the collisions part? Also having to do math seems really hard.
No one knows how well you have to do, because their grading system/selection process isn't detailed in public like that. I had a few collisions, and I feel like it got so hard (eight or so planes at once appearing) that it'd be impossible to avoid collisions.

The math is very hard, so my advice is to not even pay attention to it unless you've cleared all the traffic and have the time. Don't worry about it. Worry more about avoiding collisions.

Yikes

Just took the atsa in Auburn WA. Not sure how I feel about it, parts I think I got perfect but others were tough. That math with the collisions was just dumb l may have got lik3-4 equations correct. Anyone know how veterans points count towards this? Do they go towards your test score?

Veterans preference get added on to your ATSA score.

Just took it. It was just like what I expected for the most part. However the math problems in the collision simulation were outright impossible to solve given the short amount of time. Lots of multiplying and dividing large numbers with decimals. Good luck everyone!

Also I was under a lot of pressure and made a lot of stupid mistakes like pressing the wrong button multiple times..

Same here i think total i had 2-3 collisions between the two sims, while i also hit the wrong button maybe 2-3 times on the spatial recognition test too. So we'll see i guess.

I don't believe it goes above 9, but I could be wrong.

Academy terminal pass rate is better than enroute, not sure exactly what terminal is, but when I worked there enroute ranged from 30-70%. I saw some classes pass 0. I've even heard of 16/18 passing and better. It's never a really steady number.

You can't get the same evaluator twice, some are harder than others. I firmly believe a large percentage is based on luck/order in which you get individual evaluators. Eg. If you're not really good at non radar and get an easy evaluator, thats a good small boost of points.
