Has anyone gotten a background interview request yet by a private investigator? I submitted my e-qip two months ago, my class date is in August, isn't that a little fast? Should I be concerned that something in my background was flagged?

I believe it's on a voluntary basis only.

Lease is up end of July, still waiting on the Flight Surgeon. Guess I'll start looking for month to month leases.

How long ago did you do your tier 2 eval? I'm 2 weeks removed so I assume my evaluator sent her report. Emailed Hope today to try and trick her into an update, but she kindly referred me to her previous email that said there would be no updates ???

Yeah but that doesn't mean I'm NOT tier 2. For all I know, my file could be collecting dust on some flight surgeons desk

What’s bout people that already live in Guam?

There aren't that many that live there and to fly to Los Angeles it would take 16 hours and $2,000. I also hear it's not that nice there, not like the Caribbean.

Basically have to accept you will pretty much never see anyone you know again until you transfer out if you go Guam, or spend $$$ flying to the US. I considered it, but it's just too secluded. If it was cheaper to fly to like Japan or AUS or something maybe I'd consider but everything is just expensive going in/out of there.

I reached out last week and got told they're still waiting on both of my clearances.

Dunno if I should be concerned :/ I did finish my medical/drug test later than most people (4/30), but I got my security stuff in pretty quickly so i thought I'd have a conditional security clearance by now.

My report took a month and a half to be submitted. It was another 4 months before I heard a decision. The Tier II is a painful lesson in patience.
