Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

Speaking of medical backlog. Now I need to send in the last 5 years of prescriptions, which takes 7-10 days to get according to CVS. All because I took an anti depressant for a few months 6 years ago

Ok I’ll ask you to since notorious GBP hasn’t answered. Why does the class schedule end in June if fiscal year is october?

You can see that the last enroute class ends just into October. Probably they don't want to commit to paying instructors, etc, too far into the new fiscal year.

Side note, why are there so few people from the 4/10 terminal class on here? Still don't know where everyone else is staying. Last I heard from Kim last week is that three people were there...

My class had 0 people on here and stuckmic and we had 18 in class

Had my medical cancelled 3 days ago and rescheduled for next Monday, just waiting on a new MedXpress form I think? Hopefully this doesn't set me back or screw things up with the appt switching but I was in contact with a medical POC during this time and she never mentioned anything about failing the MMPI, so hopefully that's all good.

Lol dang. I honestly find it interesting people who are going about this whole thing blind and not posting on forums. Living their lives and not refreshing a message board on an hourly basis must be nice.
Seriously. It is kind of concerning that going into this career you wouldn't do a little more research. I remember taking my ATSA and there was one other person from this bid taking it at the same time. He had no idea what the test involved at all. Here I was reading through the write ups and practicing on ATC prep every night for 2 weeks before the actual ATSA. The way I see it, the more I can get familiar with beforehand the better.

My thoughts exactly. I knew about stuckmic during prior bids but this place is on a completely different level.

Just to add to the conversation from like 10 pages ago, me and a fellow classmate were told we were "best qualified" but haven't received TOLs yet. So that's a thing.
Also the HR lady said they're still keeping the list open and may send out more TOLs soon.
She also said there may be another bid soon. But who knows what "soon" means. lol

If you don't mind me asking, what number did you call to ask? I don't plan on calling right now but if we hear of another wave of TOLs go out and I don't get one, I think I'd like to see where I stand in preparation for next bid.

The coordinator should be the one who notified you of tier 2. Once your case is forwarded to tier 2 office it sits there until review. Then they notify your coordinator to contact you and set up the shrink appointment or gather more documents if needed. After the appointment the results are sent back to DC and they have the 45 days to review the findings and make a determination.

That is how the process was explained to me. I don't think there is any visibility on status while your case is in DC. My ATM program manager is going to some big conference at headquarters mid-April and going to ask the tier 2 office about my case and see what info he can get for me.

Oh nah, I already got notified of Tier 2. Medical has been dope as far as communicating with me. I thought you were in conctat with someone in DV about your Tier 2.

Mines is yet to be sent away because I have to do the ATCOV on Wednesday. Then they’ll send it to DC.

Did your tier 2 notification come before or after your medical exam?
