Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

Yeah, I just don't want to pay the penalty for cashing out (I think it's 10% penalty fee). But hey I hear the pension/savings plan is nice in the FAA :)
It is, you could easily top a mili if you invest in the correct options in your TSP.

I looked at my CIL. Is medical POC the MMPI POC or on the ATC examiner list? I only see the generic medical email on the medical portion of CIL.
Medical POC would be your contact for your MMPI results. Your MMPI is reviewed alongside your physical exam by a flight surgeon. Once the flight surgeon gives you the all clear, he sends this to your medical POC, and they send your clearance to your HR POC.

Tier 2 appointment tomorrow morning. For those that went already how did it go?
They gonna make you retake the test again and plus a bunch of like test. Yall should go over the question that flagged you and you will need to explain your answer. Making sure your answers are a normal person answer.

Has anyone with RC as their medical POC been OFFICIALLY notified of their tier 2 yet? The email he sent me was “your tier 2 has to be coordinated and that will take a long time.” I’m wondering if that means he’s sent the file to DC yet. It also took him 3.5 months to tell me was I tier 2 so my faith in him working fast is very low

RC is a good guy. They are just overwhelmed with cases. Keep emailing, he will get back to you.

Same here. I haven’t gotten an official tier 2 notification and I only found out because after a month of me completing my medical/mmpi I reached out for an update and was sent an email within an hour of RC telling me I did not pass the mmpi and need a tier 2 evaluation. After another month after that email was received I send out another request for an update and was told my tier 2 package was just prepared for DC for review and to be patient. I understand they are severely backed up but am I supposed to wait for a response or constantly reach out for an update? It seems reaching out will give you a “be patient” email fairly quick.

I contacted my medical POC SM, and I got her voicemail. I just need to know if I passed the MMPI, but so far no answer from her.
I contacted my Security POC VS, and she told me "i'm still being processed and I will receive and update when i'm done being processed."

Edit: Got a call from Security POC and I've been granted a conditional security clearance! So whoever came on here and said "the squeaky wheel gets the grease", you were absolutely correct. Keep calling until you get answers.
Glad you finally got your security clearance taken care of. It took forever for me to hear anything about mine as well. I finally got my FOL on Friday. Class date is June 11. I never heard anything from medical so I feel like if you haven’t yet you should be okay on the MMPI.

I hope you you meant July

I have him also, he casually mentioned in an email that I had not cleared MMPI. This was a response to me asking for an update with my medical exam. No official notification, the feeling is mutual!

I was gonna say, unless you're single with no family and mortgage/rent obligations, I'd say it's doable.
I hope I get at least a month to plan my life out. Put my house on the market, pack my stuff, quit my job, take a short vacation before I dedicate the rest of my life to the government...
It's your call but I wouldn't sell the house before you go to the academy.
