Got an offer from Wilmington, NC. Level 7 and they offered starting pay at $48k. I thought starting pay would be a bit more. Does this sound about right or a mistake?

You should start at the lowest pay and above AG. I think that sounds a little low. I think you should start at D2 at $66,111. This is because you have 52 weeks prior certified experience.

That’s what I have been hearing. Does anyone know what avenue to take if this is the case? Maybe reach out to HR again?

Not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but in the current union contract, Slate book, article 108 (Pay), section 5 (new hire pay setting), paragraph d.
