Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-20-ALLSRCE-65607

Does anyone know how long I should wait before inquiring about my clearance status?

Not all HR reps are going to inform you you’re cleared without being prompted. Wouldn’t hurt to investigate your status after a month of waiting. I made sure I was cleared with medical prior to inquiring with HR. Everyone I’ve communicated with in the process has been accommodating.

I’ve seen people mention the dates they were cleared. How do you know that?
I’ve finished up all of the medical/drug/MMPI etc stuff back in January but haven’t been contacted since.
My HR is DP, I contacted her in June and she said I was cleared but didn’t really say much more than that.
Is there somewhere this info is posted?
Don’t bother asking her specifically. She got pretty snippy with me when I asked her what date I was cleared. I asked my previous HR rep (KH) a couple weeks after I finished if he could confirm that all my items were received. All he said was that my status was currently “cleared for hire and pending a class date.”

Question:

my medical exam is next week. I may or may not be asked to send medical records from a Dec 2017 hospitalization. But of course I won’t know until I’m there….
So, should I bring all 226 pages with me just in case? It’s a lot to print.
or should I have it saved as a pdf in my email?
I don’t even know if the Dr will accept it from me or will only accept it directly from the hospital

Usually those docs would be requested by medical, not by the Dr. doing your exam. That's something the flight surgeon reviewing your file would want.

Ok. I ask because the emails from HR say you're strongly advised to bring all records. So I'm just wondering what most people have done

I got a request for documentation of a hospitalization during my exam, but I guess it was just easier that way. I think all I had to give them was the medical summary, but it wasn’t serious. 226 pages I would be prepared

Did you have to submit it directly from the hospital records dept? or were they okay accepting it from you?
