Having a feeling you might be right.I'm starting to doubt if they'll bother send out lists until the budget and threat of a shutdown is dealt with.

Any DoD controllers receive a FOL? Which pay band were you offered?
That’s what I expect but I don’t think that’s what the announcement says. From what I understand you should be offered the lowest developmental level adjusted to match your current salary. They adjust the locality I believe
Yeah I know a few I worked with dod that went faa and they all had weird salary’s while they were in training so idk. It’s a strange calculationThat’s what I expect but I don’t think that’s what the announcement says.
Received FOL, got offered gs11 step 1 but negotiated for a step 3Any DoD controllers receive a FOL? Which pay band were you offered?

You’re right, re-reading the question made me see how I misinterpreted. Thanks for the clarification!I think the question was for a DoD controller transferring to the FAA. But congrats on the negotiation, I did the same thing, unsuccessfully haha
yup, with the exception of if you held a previous fed job, then get payed at the appropriate band.Don’t previous exp bids just put you at the lowest D band the facility has?
Weirdly, myself and another 2 prior mil controllers at my facility are getting paid the bottom of D3 and the lowest D band we have is D2. The prior mil hire that got there before me said they asked and was told it was not a mistake and correct. It does match our FOLs, so I figured since the bottom of D3 is the same as the top of D2 we were put there. I haven’t really checked, but since I hit my year anniversary I did get a raise so I’m guessing I’m at bottom of D3. Because if I understand correctly if you’re at the top of a Payband you don’t get that raise? I’m not sure though.Don’t previous exp bids just put you at the lowest D band the facility has?

Probably when congress stops f*cking around and passes a budget.Anyone have an idea when they are going to send out lists? Finished all the prerequisites and reached out to HR they said just to wait.
Bottom of the lowest D band at the facility assigned to. Some facilities have a D1 or D2 band......Last I checked, precious experience goes to bottom of D3 of the facility they're assigned, pay is different for re-entrants (prior FAA CPC/decelopmental)
This application process has been like a scene out of SAW! Wanna play a game?!I don’t care what pay band they start me at. I just want to start. ?
Seriously! This whole year, really. Hopefully now that Congress finally agreed on a stimulus package we will start to see some more lists here soon. Maybe in time for Christmas? ??This application process has been like a scene out of SAW! Wanna play a game?!
That would be sweet to get a list this week but I'm thinking next week or first week of Jan.Seriously! This whole year, really. Hopefully now that Congress finally agreed on a stimulus package we will start to see some more lists here soon. Maybe in time for Christmas? ??
