Jobs other than ATC

I have a buddy, former controller, who does train dispatching now. Started in Atlanta and now works in Dallas. Six figure gig and he seems to love it enough to not put in for the FAA.

He said it was pretty much exactly like ATC if ATC were 2D and the .65 was more of a recommendation rather than law.
Sounds pretty good to me. My friend is moving to Atlanta soon.
 
That is the word on the street, and it will be for AMOC (Air Marine Operations Center). Hit me up if you have a few questions as I have seriously dug into this as an alternative to not dying 2-3 years after 56.
