Most of us everyday libs had already recognized that this wasnt true, since there was a MAJOR national story 2 months prior about several MLB players with breakthrough cases. And in fact the first breakthrough in the U.S had been reported as early as Febrauary. So if you heard from a lib that breakthrough infections were a conspiracy theory, then that lib is an idiot, and never represented the base as a whole.

So the fact that Biden is a tool is a relatively moot conversation point in regards to libs vs cons POV on Covid.

Also, as much as libs are often loons, so is anyone who buys into articles such as what the federalist is putting out.

The most amusing part of the article is that these tards still pretend like they can't figure out if these deaths are "with" or "from" covid. Children, we're past that...

Excess mortality puts our deaths at 200K+ over reported Covid deaths. Doesn't take more than common sense to figure out that they are "from".

Medical professionals constantly repeated that the vaccine prevents infection, and then walked that back to “prevents spread more than unvaccinated,” and now that’s being walked back as of Sunday to vaccines not preventing any spread at all. It sounds like you’re trying to dismiss official CDC/medical platforms as “some libs,” when that’s obviously not the case.

I can't help but find it funny that the conservatives are getting everything they want from Biden (COVID is a state issue now, back to work gotta keep that economy a booming) and no more evil gov spending on stimmies and expanded unemployment insurance to boot, yet are still upset at the most "radical socialist" president ever, for....reasons.

I also find it funny the liberals are totally blind to the massive flip flop Homsar pointed out. We've gone from "I'm gonna solve covid, and I'm gonna do it way differently, and I'm the only one who can do it" to "covid isn't my problem, back to work you dog faced pony soldiers" in a matter of a year, on top of accomplishing basically nothing else they wanted, and yet they are so much happier in terms of covid management than they were under Trump, among other things.

it's all politics business as usual and neither party truly cares beyond what the donor class thinks, and while I think vaccines are definitely a good thing, if you think there isn't a self serving profit motive by these pharma companies to get on the n+1 vaccine subscription service policy for every new mutation and variant, or that they aren't playing the media like a fiddle for that purpose.... Well I got nothing to say to that. I'm all about the science and all that jazz, but big pharma still isn't my friend, and neither are the liberals on the hill, as much as they like to paint a kindler gentler picture than the GOP.

I think the key is the virus changed so everything just changed.

Bidens plan worked against the alpha variant but failed on delta.

Conservative think if their original plan works now with 70% vaccinated it would have worked then with 0 vaccinated
