The pivot to electric vehicles is almost common sense at this point. The performance on them is insane, less maintenance compared to combustion engines, cleaner air and less noise pollution around major corridors, and they’re not even that much more expensive than gas burners. Hopefully as charging becomes easier and more models become available people will start to make the switch en masse. The American south will be majority electric by 2030 if Elon can find a way to add a holographic roll coal option and a synthetic muffler delete to the cybertruck.Seems like a great time to reduce our dependance on oil if you ask me. I find the people who want to bitch and moan about high gas prices being the same people who are rabidly against getting away from it not only laughable but incredibly disengenous. Like ya slap that "I did this" Biden sticker on the pump, but what's your opinion on the green new deal, mandated efficiency standards, expanded public transportation, offering people incentives to go electric, etc?
Oh also against those things? Guess you just like to complain.
But yea it’s more important to have something to bitch about so why make the change?
