If you drive drunk and get a dui, you deal with it. It's called a consequence. If you have sex and get pregnant, you get a child. That's how it works. I've got more examples if you'd like.
The better analogy would be you go the the bar get drunk and the government outlawed taxis and Ubers so you are shit out of luck just fuckin deal with it I guess.... by it I digress. I'm not having this conversation with someone who thinks people deserve punishment for ending relationships or recreational sex.

I agree. The Bruins looked bad early, but they came back strong in the last game. Colorado basically has the series locked up, I wonder who they will see in the finals.

Well, it’s the NBA. What’s not to enjoy more? Maybe WNBA…
Usually I can get into playoff basketball, but regular season is impossible to watch.

That’s called personal responsibility.

Unfortunately though, that is offensive to half of our population lol.

I dunno I think it can be considered pretty responsible to have the forethought to go "hey bringing a child into the world I'm unwilling to or unable to care for in my current situation is not a great idea". That's a lot of wieght to carry and not a choice most make lightly.

Unfortunately 5 out of touch old elites get to decide that bit of morality for tens of millions of people.

Hope you are enjoying your island vacation where there is no internet access! Lol
Idk what your point is. It says it’s not banned lol

In practice, access to abortion varies greatly between Muslim-majority countries. In countries like Turkey and Tunisia, abortions are unconditionally legal on request. On the other hand, in 18 out of 47 Muslim-majority countries, including Iraq, Egypt and Indonesia, abortion is only legally permitted if the life of the mother is threatened by the pregnancy while 10 countries provide it on request. No Muslim-majority country bans abortion in the case of the mother's life being at risk.[7]

So the definition of “being against it” must equal an all out ban on it?

I’m honestly not following that logic…..

Republican controller stats are doing all our bans on abortion. Roe protected that. Roe is overturned cus of Christian judges. What part are you not following?

Right but you asked who else was against it besides Christians lol.

I shared a link showing how many Muslin countries are clearly not cool with it because their only exception is the mother's life being threatened (which is as extreme as it gets for exceptions). Now assuming Wiki is correct about those 18 countries, it says the only exception is the mother's life being threatened. I'm not sure what your definition of "being against it" is, but that seems to fit the criteria.....

Seems to me you have a hard on for Christians and give other religious groups a free pass even though they appear to hold the exact same beliefs. That's the point I was trying to make.

Not the point he's trying to make but....there was a lot of "obummer wants to institute sharia law" nonsense just a few short election cycles ago, and a few states (particularly christian conservative dominated ones) had ballot iniatives and state congressional debates about banning "sharia law".....those same Christian conservative folks have no problem passing thier own brand of religious rule. Little hypocritical no?

I'm not really worried about what goes down in Iraq or Indonesia or turkey when it comes to women's rights, at least not as much as I am here.

But hey if the shining light on a hill of a country you wanna compare your standards to is Iraq..... Lmao. Sweet. Good job right wing America loving the progress.

Yah so Christian states are going to ban abortion for all reasons including if the mothers life is at risk. So it’s worse than sharia law. Wouldn’t it be? Even sharia law has more logic then the Christian Right.

Even the Torah isn’t against abortion.

Also if you want to argue it’s states rights that fake news cus Moscow Mitch says they want to ban it federally if they take congress

Didn’t cancel student debt, ended abortion, proxy war with Russia, by god you’re right!
It's the opposite

Trump tried to end marijuana law

Biden ending abortions

We should try and negotiate our contract with trump in 2026
