Had a Zoom call with our training manager and NATCA training rep today. They said there’s a telcon on Wednesday (don’t know if it’s district/region/national/etc.) and as long as things don’t get pushed back again we will be recalled next Tuesday for classroom review and then start OJT the following week. This is for a group of CPC-ITs sitting at home. Facility has no plan of coming off 5/5 schedule as of now.

Funny how fast this all flipped for not being discussed like salty said.
They typed that all up in 1 hour bruh

Sweet.

was it not mentioned, or did I miss, what the plan is for those not in labs/on the floor? Us lowly AG's likely wouldn't be back in the building the same day as those on the floor, right?

you clearly forgot you work for the government where everything takes 10x as long.

per a summary from the telcon horny was on a few pages ago, yes, staggered return.

Sounds like they’re going with a phased in approach, with a maximum of 50% capacity in labs/operations. If it just goes down the line with seniority, I’d guess AGs probably have at least a couple more months to go unfortunately.

But clearing people above them is just as important

Unless I missed it - the documents don’t say anything about EA folks returning. That’s a separate deal which is based on the county maps blah blah blah

This is what I figured, except imagine the disadvantage this puts centers/tracons at compared to towers. My Z could easily keep even the AG'ers socially distanced in classrooms, but I have heard of other Z's that just have one large room full of trainees.

Has anyone that has returned to 5/2 or the coveted 6/1, been told by management that they can't work a midday shift like a 9? My thought is that were are going back to our negotiated BWS MOU then we should be able to use all lines negotiated unless NATCA and the FAA came to a different agreement.
