Can I go too? My wife is driving me insaneJust talked to one of our trainees. I guess they have to go back to do 2 weeks of tetra class. So dumb.
They typed that all up in 1 hour bruhFunny how fast this all flipped for not being discussed like salty said.
Sweet.Had a Zoom call with our training manager and NATCA training rep today. They said there’s a telcon on Wednesday (don’t know if it’s district/region/national/etc.) and as long as things don’t get pushed back again we will be recalled next Tuesday for classroom review and then start OJT the following week. This is for a group of CPC-ITs sitting at home. Facility has no plan of coming off 5/5 schedule as of now.

per a summary from the telcon horny was on a few pages ago, yes, staggered return.was it not mentioned, or did I miss, what the plan is for those not in labs/on the floor? Us lowly AG's likely wouldn't be back in the building the same day as those on the floor, right?
Sounds like they’re going with a phased in approach, with a maximum of 50% capacity in labs/operations. If it just goes down the line with seniority, I’d guess AGs probably have at least a couple more months to go unfortunately.was it not mentioned, or did I miss, what the plan is for those not in labs/on the floor? But clearing people above them is just as importantSounds like they’re going with a phased in approach, with a maximum of 50% capacity in labs/operations. If it just goes down the line with seniority, I’d guess AGs probably have at least a couple more months to go unfortunately.
I was told it would be an immediate start once implementedBut clearing people above them is just as important
As in immediate start for everyone? Like every trainee would be recalled at once?I was told it would be an immediate start once implemented
No. For me, since I’ve been working the last 6 monthsAs in immediate start for everyone? Like every trainee would be recalled at once?
Oh yeah that makes sense. Yeah I’m imagining people who were new to facilities and hadn’t started OJT might still be looking at the holidays or later to get rolling again.No. For me, since I’ve been working the last 6 months
This is what I figured, except imagine the disadvantage this puts centers/tracons at compared to towers. My Z could easily keep even the AG'ers socially distanced in classrooms, but I have heard of other Z's that just have one large room full of trainees.Sounds like they’re going with a phased in approach, with a maximum of 50% capacity in labs/operations.
