Because he didn’t? Corona barely even got to the states in February and China was downplaying it super hard. Nobody thought this was going to blow up this far back then. What’s he supposed to do? Tell them it’s going to be the 1918 pandemic all over again and have everyone panic? Get real

Why would he do that? He could have been honest(lol) and say that this shit is dangerous and people should be ready to make changes to control it. Not “it’s gonna go away on it’s own.”

There were 53 cases of Coronavirus in the USA at the end of February, and probably even less when Trump was recorded. Who is going to create a nationwide panic over that? Not one person in the government knew what was going to happen. Why create an unnecessary panic?

Trump knew. He was briefed back in January it would be bad. But he chose to downplay it. Americans are dead cause he decided to call it a hoax rather than rally the country together and put in effect nationwide measures to limit it. Then when it did get bad, he’s little boy Kushner delayed putting a National plan into effect because it was only blue states getting hit at the time. fuck sake some people are fucking dense.
