Unofficial Republican ballot boxes/ Democrat ballot parties

Different wings same bird.
Except having a “party” allows you to legally/face to face give someone power to return your ballot. There’s nothing like that going on here. It’s literally against the law to do this.

Ah yes. We can trust these strangers. So you disagree with mail in then?

If you’re stupid enough to sign your ballot away to a stranger to be returned then go ahead, but that’s legal in California. Setting up drop boxes and calling them official when they aren’t is not.

Also, vote by mail has worked pretty well in California. The only thing that would give me pause is the post offices issues under trumps post master.

Legality is a far fetch from being legitimate. The process by which both parties go about it is with the sole purpose of manipulating the number of votes either by collection or convenience . Just because one prefers to fuck you legally doesn't mean it's right (read: DNC Primaries, Taxes, Redlining), poll watching is also legal in California but it's also a manipulation tactic.

Either way, balloting is am archaic method for voting and inefficient in both the initial and verifying processes.

Democrats committing election fraud

You actually like either of these parties care for you or I.

Why can’t we just have 2 weeks of voting nationwide at all polling places. Or one week at least. Seems pretty easy

Not even that, we do the census through direct contact or submission in real time. Do the same thing with voting, provide an confirmation number to the voter in case of verification.

Why ballots, drop boxes, mail ins etc etc....it's 2020, we should be able to do this crap online. Shit can be verified.

It is curious why the republicans are literally against voting. But yes. Let’s make it easier and more available.

i don’t mind in person voting. But just make it easy.

If I can pay my taxes, renew my car tags, securely and safely access all kinds of data and manipulate personal things online from banking to bills to medical records, there is no reason I can't vote online.

Hell I did both my car loan and mortgage on my house completely online. Never even physically signed any documents, or met with a loan officer in person. If it's secure enough for a bank to verify my identity and safely give me tens of thousands of dollars, I figure we can make voting secure enough too.

Added benefit more people would probably participate too. Hell I wouldn't be opposed to using it to slowly move to a more direct style democracy in lieu of this electoral nonsense that creates so much strife via a shitty two party system our goverment was never meant to function with.

Voter fraud happens, but it's kind of a boogeyman issue. The parties are more at fault corrupting the system than individuals, I totally agree with shikaka, though yes it seems one party is pretty intent on manipulating the vote by making it harder for some to do so, but both gerrymander when they are in a position to do so, both try and manipulate opinion both use wedge issues they have no intent on really doing anything about for good cause to garner votes etc.

System sucks, needs change.

If you're getting a bit curious look into Estonia, they moved their entire government online, seems practical and realistic how they do it too.

Yeah what the fuck is the point on having a social security number if you cant use it for shit like voting online.

That way I can sit at home butt ass naked with my Rand Paul buttplug jammed in past the handle eating Velveeta shells & cheese and drinking ice cold Yuengling while watching Al Jazeera, whip out my triple-encrypted tor-net flip phone, plug in my social security number (unless I renounced it cuz I'm a baller ass sovereign citizen) and do a write-in vote for Amash
