Wasn’t there like 1 sketchy witness that said they announced themselves then he took it back. And like a bunch more that said they didn’t hear it?

Pro 2a guy checking in, it was bullshit, as well as Phillando Castille, and at least one more I can't remember where a dude just exercising his rights got blasted because too many cops are scared of thier own shadows.

The wiki said that there’s at least two, but both are wavering a bit in their conviction. Regardless, pro 2A groups did speak up.
 
6 years in police/911 dispatch: the things I have heard and seen are unreal. I have plenty of officer friends that I would individually stand up for over anything, but I have minimal trust in law enforcement as a whole after that part of my life. And judges for that matter too; I had to patch phone calls for officers requesting warrants from judges via recorded lines and the shit I heard judges doing in the background while officers were going through their warrant request mad-libs were mind boggling (sleeping, having sex, partying, etc.).

I'm actually impressed judges are available 24/7. I'm not surprised people sleep and have relations when not at work

Most larger areas have either night judges specifically for that purpose or have judges rotate being on-call/graveyard shift for set days/weeks. For all intents and purposes, these judges are "at work" while they engage in that behavior, so those activities are happening on the clock and not outside of work.

A lot of states (not all) require warrants for blood-draws for suspected DUI drivers; so even after failing field sobriety tests, failing a breathalyzer, being arrested, then booked at jail, officers still have to get a warrant in order to draw blood at the jail to prove there is alcohol in the blood.

Kind of goes back to my point though: a lot of the system can't be trusted because it is operating on cruise-control by apathetic, unqualified, and/or malicious people (shit, am I talking about criminal justice or ATC at this point?). Officers using a "fill in the blank" sheet for warrant requests. Judges not paying attention and just giving carte blanche approvals. Lawyers that are "in" with the judges and charges almost always get thrown out or knocked down to the lowest possible thing. I have helped process the paperwork for people arrested for their 23rd DUI and they end up having 0 of them actually on their record because of the system.

It's broken. Broken badly. And it is broken at damn near every step.

Jury was pressured to make a guilty verdict. I wouldn't put my name on a hit list by voting not guilty either. 32andBelow I'm interested to see your thoughts on the Ohio shooting
 
I just watched it. Looked like the person was in danger that chick was wielding a knife at another chick. I think we want the cops to only take the action when someone is in big danger. Which it looked like she was.

idk about shooting at two people tho. That’s a bit sketchy. I say innocent. I’ll let you know about the next one in a couple hours.

some reports are saying the one with the knife was the one that called police and she was defending herself, but the bodycam is all they've put out. sad either way

Well the cops were there and she was trying to stab someone in front of the cops. Sad yes, but looked like the cop didn’t really have a choice.
