Just a “riot”The level of gymnastics the left is using to paint over a riot with a label of insurrection is unreal, especially the conspiracy theories with things like Sicknik’s death.

Yikes. Could you imagine if this happened the other way. They investigated Benghazi like 100 time’sThe level of gymnastics the left is using to paint over a riot with a label of insurrection is unreal, especially the conspiracy theories with things like Sicknik’s death.
No need to investigate a casual riot at our nations capitol! It was more of a get together if anything!Yikes. Could you imagine if this happened the other way. They investigated Benghazi like 100 time’s
They looked like tourists. On a guided tour.No need to investigate a casual riot at our nations capitol! It was more of a get together if anything!
Do you know why it took police so long to respond?![]()
Fox News Blocks the Blue, Refuses to Air Ad Featuring Police Officers Condemning Capitol Riot
Fox News, the outlet that has perhaps been most instrumental in orchestrating the Back the Blue campaign, refused to air an ad that featured Capitol police officers criticizing the Republican politicians who have tried to downplay the events of Jan. 6.www.theroot.com
SAD!
I don’t know. Maybe they should investigate itDo you know why it took police so long to respond?
They had to go home and change firstI don’t know. Maybe they should investigate it
I'd say an investigation into the who what how and why would settle if it was in fact an uncoordinated spontaneous riot but I guess we will never know since the people who would've benefited most from the alleged failed coup decided investigating it was unimportant.
They are convinced that's what happened due to the video and witness accounts of the event, as well as statements from those involved, and the pile of evidence pointing to there being some sort of at least loose idea or plan of what was supposed to take place, if not more than that.If the investigation was framed in the way you just described it, I think it would have had more support. When the left is already convinced what happened, despite facts literally contradicting their claims (the aforementioned Sicknik’s cause of death, for one), any investigation is just a Nazi-era People’s court.
The proposed investigation was changed to follow what the republicans asked for. But the republicans still voted against it. Cus trump said they have to follow the big lieIf the investigation was framed in the way you just described it, I think it would have had more support. Appreciate you bringing attention to Antifa Super Soldiers. Not enough people know about this existential threat to our republic. They are convinced that's what happened due to the video and witness accounts of the event, as well as statements from those involved, and the pile of evidence pointing to there being some sort of at least loose idea or plan of what was supposed to take place, if not more than that.
That some want to frame it as a tourist event gone awry and are afraid of what an investigation might uncover as far as more evidence is the issue I'd say.
If you are telling me that a bunch of raucous antifa super soldiers stormed the capitol and injured a bunch of cops (maybe killing one since apparently that's up for debate), and caused lawmakers to suspend thier duties and flee to safe rooms, and security to draw weapons and open fire at one point during the act after a fiery speech by AOC insinuated she'd lead them there would not warrant an investigation and that's your stance.... Fine I guess, though I'd disagree, but I'm thinking for most people against an investigation, that's not at all the case and it's purely ass covering and damage control by the lawmakers on the offending side, and willful ignorance by supporters.
We need a ban on assault soup cans now.Appreciate you bringing attention to Antifa Super Soldiers. Not enough people know about this existential threat to our republic.
This level of delusional is unreal. Nothing else to really say, just sad honestly. If the investigation was framed in the way you just described it, I think it would have had more support. There are a few genuinely unserious people on this site that aren’t really worth engaging with. Pure tribalism. This level of delusional is unreal. Nothing else to really say, just sad honestly.
Reminds me of 7 clicks to hitler on Wikipedia.Godwin's law
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Godwin's law, short for Godwin's law (or rule) of Nazi analogies,[1][2] is an Internet adage asserting that as an online discussion grows longer (regardless of topic or scope), the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Adolf Hitler becomes more likely.[2][3]
Godwin's law
Including their battle with communists…It is worth mentioning that Mike Godwin (the coiner of the adage) has pointed out that comparisons between the alt-right and 1920s/1930s Nazis are actually quite apt...
I think there’s some sort of fallacy where you compare two things completely unalike and call them similar. Like saying you can compare Jesus and Nazi’s because they both were part of a three (trinity/third Reich).I wish there was some sort of built-in feature to comment sections that detected anytime someone typed the words Nazi, Marxist, communist, fascist, socialist, totalitarianism, authoritarianism, dictator, etc. It would be like a IQ-based captcha and would require them to accurately define each term before allowing the comment to be posted; and if they failed it would post an auto comment of "*username* has failed the Godwin's Law Captcha."
I feel like 95% of internet commenters would fail that captcha test and I would just perpetually giggle with delight. Alas, 'tis only but a dream.
