You forgot about if the length between front tire and driver is less than 6 ft 2 you need an extra 200$ tax, but if the rim size is less than 15 inches it counts as a non standardized street legal 4 wheeler and you dont have to pay it (Due to a DOT letter published on their website not law)

There's about 20 different versions of this meme, this one is the least graphic and outrageous, but you get the point. Can't scream about Trump is an authoritarian wannabe fascist and enabling white nationalists etc etc out of one side of your mouth and then say only the government should have modernized firearms out of the other.

I personally believe everyone, with a proper background check, should be allowed to own a handgun to protect their home. But I realize that it’s not a perfect world and that isn’t really a solution. So I’m personally okay with Americans having guns as long as background checks are being done properly. It’s going to take a lot of time to get to where we need to get as a country with our gun violence. I don’t agree with assault weapons or automatic weapons (modifications included) but as long as an extensive background check is done then I see it as progress.

I will say I don’t think guns would actually help against a tyrannical military that is as advanced and strong as the USA military. It’s hard for me to not think someone is a moron if they think their guns would stop the military lol. That’s off topic from me tho.

What if I told you the background check to get a full auto is quite extensive, requires your local authorities to sign off on, and takes about a year to process, and that msot of the fear mongering you see in regards to guns isn't backed up by statistics when you take into consideration the numbers of legal law abiding owners?

It’s not so much that we are a credible threat to to overthrowing the military, just like I’m not a credible threat to cheetah (unarmed). But a cheetah won’t pick that fight because the risk to reward isn’t worth it.

It’s not so much that we are a credible threat to to overthrowing the military, just like I’m not a credible threat to cheetah (unarmed). But a cheetah won’t pick that fight because the risk to reward isn’t worth it.

I’m not so sure that’s true. I don’t think a hypothetical leader of a Tyrannical military would be thrown off by the thought of picking the fight. They’d already be insane in the first place most likely so that wouldn’t stop them.

So just because you feel like you might not stand a chance(that's debatable by the way) , let's just strip ourselves of any chances. That makes total sense. It’s not about the muskets. Are the government not people? Are the police not people? Why do those people get modern firearms? To ensure their freedom and protection? Because that’s all I want.

1)wasn't full auto
2)he was in fact breaking laws by possessing that firearm in public as a minor. Huh. Criminals don't obey gun laws. Imagine that.
3) one of the dudes that tried to stop him was carrying a glock, likely with a standard capacity 15rd mag that would be banned/very highly regulated to the point of a defacto ban under the Biden plan, so that kinda renders your "should be able to own handguns" point moot.

Whether or not that dude should have smoked his ass instead of getting his arm blasted is up for debate.
