If there is any advice I could give is they're pretty social animals, at least get two. The perk to them too is similar to donkeys is they're good herd protectors so if you just wanted to keep both chickens and alpaca in the same area they'd both benefit from it. You can find them for sale online at ranches all over the country for $5/600.

It depends on the color/quality from what I've seen. I used to live by alpacas of america until they shut down, people used to throw red paint all over their signs.

So why can sports teams do daily testing of players and staff, and quarantine those who test positive, but the FAA/NATCA can’t have people test on day 1 and day 5 of the 5/5 (5 day incubation and whatnot), and bring people back en masse now? This county map bull shit is never going to get anyone back. No reason people who are negative should be staying at home anymore. We’re one week short of 8 months. COVID babies are going to start being born soon.

Because the FAA would rather spend $250K for a cleaning 5 days after a positive case and the whole area/center has been exposed rather than that perfectly logical nonsense you suggested. Pfft gtfo /s.

Most of the schools in my area are back to E learning starting next week. I think thats like the infectious disease groundhog, means we get 6 more months of the primo sched

In Western Pacific, anyone who comes in the building now for currency, whether a trainee or high risk, is back in the building. No more going out on EA.

That Doesn’t help those who‘s currency has lapsed or lost certs or whatever, nor people who‘ve been waiting for class, but it’s something.

PUB being completely closed is only a harbinger of what’s to come, how long til a core 30 airport tower is closed for 2 weeks?

Wouldn’t be surprised to find out the PUB controllers had a Halloween party and exposed everyone or something like that. Have heard of a few instances where a bunch of controllers hang out and in a smaller tower if you have an outbreak from that it’s game over. Otherwise seems hard to expose enough people just from a normal shift rotation to completely shut the tower down.

I think though if you had 2-3 people who all hung out outside of work, all three get sick, you’re on BWS rotation, and now you’ve only got maybe 5 CPC’s who haven’t been exposed by the time the sickos realize what’s happening. Can’t run the tower with only 5 bodies Total.
