Slate Book Extended Until 2029

Cool, 0/10 on relevancy points bud.
10/10 on relevancy points. You claimed Trump isn't a grifter, which is the most head-in-the-sand take I've seen on here in a long time, and Soul_Controller gave you just a couple out of the many examples of him grifting money. Not to mention his son-in-law getting millions from the Saudis, his daughter getting cushy patent deals from China, him spending more days golfing than any POTUS in memory and charging the Secret Service for room and golf cart rentals at his clubs while they're on duty protecting him. Jesus Christ.

We can argue back and forth about what kind of effect he'll have on us but to say he isn't a grifter is just... wow. I mean it, I don't think you should be controlling if you're this ignorant of what's going on.

How was him selling shoes and hats grifting? Last I checked that’s basic business so it doesn’t seem too relevant to him being a grifter or not.

And I don’t know what that has to do with how I work airplanes. It’s a good thing you’re not a flight surgeon because you’re delusional and too wrapped up in politics to think rationally. I bet you just have to key up with a rebuttal on guard because you can’t help yourself when you hear a “let’s go Brandon.” Lmao.

Town hall went like this:

You aren’t smart and can’t comprehend the “strategy” if you don’t agree with the extension.

I never said I wouldn’t extend.

The numbers we used to show our salary over the years are good and we didn’t gas light you into thinking you are paid enough (reference Delta pilot salaries and raises).

Nothing would have changed until 2027 anyway but hear me out, with this extension the FAA will open negotiations before 2029…

We said we’d get you a pay raise and 30 something days in we got you 25% ojti pay, you’re welcome.

And more bullshit.

Next level gaslighting

Does anyone remember the actual quote? I wasn't recording, but I believe it was something like "I may need to explain this a few different ways because of the level of education of our members." Couldn't believe he actually said that out loud.

I never said I wouldn’t extend.
Email from Team Daniels-Haltom, June 3 2024, subject: "Pay Increases Don't Have to Wait Until 2026", reads in part: "Most importantly, we will immediately engage in mid-term and full-term (CBA) negotiations in 2026 when the previous extension Rich and Mick were a part of expires."

If the entire organization can’t be decertified/replaced, impeachment and removal from office for Daniels is what absolutely needs to happen.

I love that he says Rich and Mick were part of the extension last time as members of the NEB, but now it’s all him this time.

What a fucking flip-flopper.

Can we talk about how so much of the membership has never voted on a cba and by 2029 it’ll be most of the membership. They talk about how the FAA is going to impose a contract on us. But the only one imposing a contract right now is NATCA and Nick Daniels.

JD please raise your hand tomorrow 🙏

We all know the answer to this, there are no real negotiators and the fear of losing official time is something the NEB is very worried about.

NATCA is nothing more than a self serving scam now. It’s all about getting the most money and the best conditions for THEMSELVES. If there’s ever a threat they or their A114 buddies may be kicked off the gravy train and forced back to the boards, THAT is what they’re truly most concerned with. Fuck the workforce, they’re more than adequately compensated to begin with.

My initial reaction to all of this, like many others here, is to just leave this union. I am really struggling with the decision. Part of me wants to just say fuck it and leave; the other part thinks that’s just what Nick wants, less vocal opposition. It’s hard to tell anyone that wants out to stay when it’s clear their voices are just being ignored.

Nick preaches unity, and to his credit, he has unified us… against him. That’s the one good thing I can take out of that town hall.

I don’t know if I’ll stay, but I know if I do, I will do anything in my power to stop this man from going against the desires of the membership. Maybe if there’s enough of us idiots out there that put our minds together, we can outsmart Nick’s huge brain.
