Trump Proposes No Tax on Overtime

Quotes are cool, A report from 2022 found that 29% of high school students in Baltimore City Public Schools tested at or above the proficient level. Baltimore spends between 16k and 22k per student a year.

We have every right to question these taxes when the service you claim benefit society are turning out stupid people at an astounding clip.
you’re right to question, but the desire to dismantle isn’t the answer. Do you live in Baltimore? Or the state? Those are really the only people who have a right to complain about their failures. I will say I think there are way too many administrators and not enough teachers. You can hire 2-3 more teachers for each overpaid admin. Do we really need a curriculum principal/superintendent for 1st grade?

Do you question the police for their failures also? We can all name numerous failures of the police, numerous misconduct payouts in the billions. No instead they will be defended by the thin blue line crowd. Uvalde is a shining example, Breonna Taylor’s illegal warrant is another. Buck Laramore died after a sergeant illegally broke into his house and ended up getting shot by the officer after defending himself. The Wyoming state Supreme Court even admitted he illegally broke into his house and allowed him to keep his job. The list goes on and on.

What about the DOD? You get my point.

If you are just looking at one area of tax payer funded jobs or industries but not others, you’re a partisan hypocrite and just want to take down whoever you perceive to be voting for the other side.

I used Baltimore as an example but it's just a shining example of the failures that are repeated throughout this country, and also I can complain about whatever I want you knuckle head.

On your policing tangent, do you live in Wyoming? Do you live in Uvalde? How does it affect you? Those are the only people who have a right to complain. Do you see how silly that sounds.

I'm also not pro police, we shouldn't have 16 federal security/intelligence agencies, I'm sure you agree we can start at the federal level by getting rid of some and work our way down.

I just used my examples as a shining example of the failures that are repeated throughout the country. You don’t even care about Baltimore, just like people complaining about the crime in Chicago, and you know it.

I find it confusing when people from our agency complain about federal expenditures of other agencies as if we would somehow be immune from those cuts in our own federal agency.

Stay partisan my friend.

Why wouldn't I care that Baltimore produces failing school kids who turn into violent adult felons, or the crime in Chicago? I care alot, no one in America should have to live with shitty schools, violent criminals who get no punishment and are free to terrorize their communities over and over again when they shouldn't be on the street. I don't think you care.

I can't complain about 16 security/intelligence agencies? You want more or less intelligence/security agencies? You sound like a real partisan to me.

There is an interesting dichotomy and conflict for federal employees who want to reduce federal expenditures and “trim the fat.” As one of them, personally I believe it comes down to whether you’re going to place your own personal needs ahead of conflicting values.

There's a nuanced struggle between the desire to trim the excess and the potential impact on your own role. It ultimately depends on whether you prioritize personal job security or the broader goal of fiscal responsibility.. but realistically, in our agency specifically, operational 2152s would not even be a consideration for reduction.

For every controller, there are about 3-4 office vampires that could vanish like a fart in the wind and the agency would still operate the same (it would probably do better without a lot of these people in reality).

Doesn't work like that. They'd just contract you out to Midwest
