I have been looking on this website for any clues, as to when the next Open Bid will be, but I haven't seen anything talk about it. Does anyone know when the next open hiring bid will be? And what should I be doing in order to prepare myself to be in the most ideal shape for this application process.

Nobody knows. Supposedly they were supposed to have one this past January, but the government shutdown obviously prevented that. They may just wait until the summer when they typically open new bids, or they could have a new bid starting tomorrow - no way to say for sure.

As for your next question, the FAQs on this website are very clear about what requirements you’ll need to meet to be eligible for the position - however there's probably not much you could do between now and then if you’re not already eligible.

Right now there’s an open bid for flight data (air traffic assistants) hiring for just about every center. Pay starts at 38,000 ish and eventually gets up to around $120,000 depending on where you go. I don’t know the details but it’s worth looking into.

But it says you need 52 weeks of experience? I guess it's only for washouts.

Are you sure about that 120,000. The bid states "$38,560 to $57,842 per year"

June 14th-17th of this month. 7500 applicants and they’ll close it so make sure to have items needed for your application ready and complete it on USAJOBS asap.
