Agreed. While NCPET is a major issue and a contentious one at that, intentionally washing people out is wrong and wanting to move on with your life by transferring to another facility is not a crime. The stock answer "You said you were willing to work anywhere" with the response from another user on Reddit saying "It is not a life sentence" is very true. Quite a few people I know are looking to bail from the FAA and seek employment elsewhere especially in DOD because of: family, location, living conditions. Not everyone has a problem working anywhere but having an eventual exit or some sort of career progression is a nice goal.The agency really should launch an investigation into these rogue trainers that intentionally wash people out just because they say something they don’t like, believe something they don’t like, etc. Washing anyone out for any reason besides not being able to do the job is unacceptable. If any of the people that ZME asshole washed saw that post, they could sue to get their jobs back.
They’ve intentionally not labeled upward facility moves as career progression so they can suppress them however they want. Much like the military we’re all just a billet in the broader numbers so they don’t care how those are filled as long as the numbers meet what they’re looking for. That is the sad truth to it and the moment you question this egregious system you are ostracized, at least unofficially, because you dared to question the order of things. Members of the NEB tout a litany of achievements that they have accomplished in these "unprecedented times" claiming no one could do better than they and that they know better.
