Hiring Bid Experienced bid: FAA-ATO-17-ATCEXP-52850

Question: If hired from this announcement, and having been a prior CPC, left the agency and now work in a different agency...At what pay band would I start? D1, AG, CPC...?

I got out of the Navy in April and received two CTOs (FTG,BRO) after the bid closed. Will they take that into consideration before giving you a list? (Assuming I pass all of the pre-reqs)

Yeah, you'll get a survey that has you list your facilities, type of operation (single/intersecting/parallel rwy's) etc and that's how they'll determine your experience (through a point system).

Would I start at the bottom of the CPC band, or would my agency pay transfer over, ie if I make 100k in agency X, transfer to a facility with CPC band 90k-115k, would I simply keep my pay the same?
Per the slate book

e. Re-Entrant:

(1) CPC Re-Entrants shall be considered a CPC at their assigned facility.

(a) CPC Re-Entrant currently employed by the federal government will retain current Basic Pay if it is within the CPC pay band for the assigned ATC facility.

i. If current Basic Pay is below the minimum of the CPC pay band for the ATC Facility Pay Level, pay will be raised to the minimum of the CPC pay band. If the current Basic Pay exceeds the established CPC pay band, pay will be set at the top of the CPC pay band.

(b) CPC Re-Entrants not currently employed by the federal government will have their Basic Pay set in the CPC pay band of the facility to which the employee is assigned.

i. If the previous Basic Pay is below the minimum of the CPC pay band for the ATC Facility Pay Level, pay will be raised to the minimum of the CPC pay band. If the previous Basic Pay exceeds the established CPC pay band, pay will be set at the top of the CPC pay band.

Thanks MJ and Breakaway. You guys always seem to bring good news!

delta_force, I called and was told the same thing they've been saying for months---"We haven't received anything yet."

Do you mind if I ask what your experience was? You can PM me, I'm just curious. If not, no worries and congrats again.
