MMPI-2 Tier 2 Process

Very nice update! Just passed my Tier-2 medical. Had my appointment with my Tier-2. They are definently moving along!! Just waiting on clearances! Just hold on boyss! we still doing secret clearance for okc?
Terminal positions only get a Public Trust, not a "clearance" (Secret or otherwise), though secret-squirrel facilities like ADW and JCF might be an exception. I believe Enroute positions do get a Secret clearance but I'm not certain on that.
Great
Nice! Congrats ? Do you mind sharing when you had your tier II eval and when your file was originally transferred to hope for coordination? I should be about 2-3 weeks out from coordinating my appointment.

Okay, so you’re appointment was 04July.. Just for clarification, when did they send you the Tier 2 notification release forms? Im talking about the email RDC or SM sent you with a PDF notifying you a psychiatrist has been selected.

It looks like I'm likely tier 2, spoke with ATC program analyst yesterday.

Has anyone ever had action taken against their existing airmen medical certificate for declining to proceed with the process and dropping out of consideration? Ie: Never going to tier 2 appt? Is there any language about that happening on the official notice for tier 2?

Looking at the chat/forum history here, it looks like this has happened before after going to tier 2 appts. People have had airmen medicals revoked after getting diagnosed with something by the shrink.

I mean I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure the FAA can't diagnose you with results on that test alone without you consulting with the psych, and it's on them to prove you have some condition that warrants revoking an existing medical, right?

Have you informed RDC or your HR rep that you no longer seek employment with the FAA?

Not yet.

Analyst was also not RDC, it was someone else.

Got the call after voicing some concerns about my own medical history in a call to my Regional Flight Surgeon's office. Had enough of a fight as is just to get my second class...I don't want to relive that.

Just weighing options at the moment.

I got my RDC email 13May.

Rdc Email Received on 13May.
Good stuff man and congrats on sticking out the wait... Trying to decide if i should quit my overseas contracting job when I have to go back to the states for my tier 2 appointment. Still kinda on the fence about it

I'm Tier 2 for MMPI failure from the 2021 experience bid, I received this email yesterday:

"Your file has been forwarded for Tier 2 coordination. You will be notified when your case is ready to move forward.

To support our efforts in restarting the Tier 2 evaluation process, our focus is on coordinating evaluations. Your TOL or CIL letter date has no effect on this process. Cases are coordinated on a first in-first out basis. You should not expect updates until we contact you with evaluation coordination details."

For continuity sake or to avoid someone having to sort through 3 trillion replies, would anyone care to explain what this part of the process signifies and/or the timeline that follows (reference appointment being made etc.)

It means they know you’re tier-2, and you’re in their queue to coordinate a appointment for you whenever it’s your turn. They’re asking to not email for updates over and over like I and basically everyone else did so they can coordinate faster and push out as many candidates as possible. They’ll email you when it’s your turn and ask for a address update, then they’ll coordinate a doctor for you and make a appointment then you go and do it the doctor makes the report and sends it through to them they review it and make a decision then you get cleared through or not

JUST GOT NOTIFIED AFTER WAITING ABOUT 16 MONTHS! LFG

Scheduling my Tier 2 evaluation for sometime in October. Wish me luck fellas, its been a long wait.
Congrats and good luck!

The timeline makes me wonder, since Hope's email that she sent out May said that they are working on a "first in first out" strategy. I just hit my 24 month anniversary from being notified of tier II. I believe HQ got my file a month or so after that. Maybe they quit that strategy or something.

This is awesome news. Congrats man. When were you first told you were tier 2'd? I was only just notified in February of this year.
I don't have the exact dates but:

Sept 2019 - Applied to prior exp bid
Mar 2020 - Failed MMPI
May 2020 - Officially notified of Tier 2
--- spent this time coordinating and collecting necessary documents for tier 2 package---
Aug 2020 - Collected all necessary records/documents, package waiting for pysch. I was then notified (after many annoying emails sent by myself) that there were 90 or so applicants ahead of me and to basically STFU and wait. Remember, this is peak covid, so even collecting the documents was taking EXTREMELY long. During this process, my Tier 2 provider was also MIA quite frequently. I was not given a list of things needed, rather I felt more strung along and with every corresponding email, they magically needed some "new' document. SALTY.
Sep 2021 - Notified by email from HW/SM that a Tier 2 provider has been selected and to schedule my appointment
To be continued...

I'll keep posting updates as they come. Currently I'm in the process of leaving my overseas contract job and heading back to the states.
FWIW, my biggest advice to anyone going through this process is to get ALL of your documents in as fast as possible, and once you are officially "waiting in line" completely forget about it. I'd send a follow up email every 60 or so days, just checking in with your Tier 2 person. I spent a lot of time and mental energy thinking this was "just around the corner." I could not have been more wrong.

That's strange... They definitely haven't quit that strategy, as far as I can tell. I know a couple other guys who are also Tier 2 and they are reporting the same. I would really do your due diligence and find out where your package is, if it still needs anything, and why its being held up.

What documents are you referencing? Personal stuff bc of something in the past or more general stuff? Feel free to DM if necessary.
