Terminal Class pass rate

Did you work at PAO in the past? What makes it so bad?
Let's do some quick math to see why... AG pay is right around $60k or so after locality and CIP, which for easy numbers is $5k/month but we will call take home around $3200. Rent for a one bedroom is right around $2600/month for pretty bare bones offerings. Utilities will probably run around another $300 after you figure in a phone bill. Fuel is $6 a gallon, not to mention any car payments you may have. Student loans? Probably another $300-$400 right there after the moratorium lifts. I hope you don't have to have literally anything repaired on your car, because that's another good chunk of change you're paying from somewhere. Groceries are about 20% more expensive than the rest of US. It takes over a year to get checked out there, so you're probably looking to spend 6-8 months at AG pay and hope you don't run the credit cards completely dry by that point just trying to survive in Northern California.

It’s probably less about the facility but more about its level, and cost of living nearby.
It is expensive 100% can’t avoid that lol. But live 30min away and you can find very affordable living. Most the folks here at PAO are in that 20-30min range. Also traffic can be nuts like most city areas.

Man you’re a math wizard!! I mean HOT DOG!!! You must be be my neighbor since you know exactly what rent is or what our utilities are at my “bare bones offering” house. I hope you don’t think my place is to “Bare Bones” for my kids to live here safely? OMG I never knew I was just barely making day to day!!

I mean that’s what you’re saying, that the way anyone lives out here is just “Bare Bones Offerings” it!!! Maybe you should come out and show you face too we’ll all just have a party but you need to bring the snacks because we can’t afford anything.

Wouldn't that be the same as APC? Also Northern California?

I’m good man. I choose to work smarter, not harder. 1657345504880.png

… and best part, if you go to PAO, Matt will likely be on your training team. So there’s that.

I would avoid PAO but nothing else on the list seems terrible, but I haven’t done my research

PIA is losing their radar soon, so if you want radar be advised of that, but you might be able to cpc on just tower if it goes soon, quickly, Im unsure of the timeline

PIA and SPI are both losing their radar to T75 on 09/11/22. They'll probably drop to level 4s. No chance of anyone new getting to RTF from there.

I mean grading that test must be a hard balance. You want to keep the people crazy enough to shoot up the workplace away but have to let the ones crazy enough to work at a level 6 tower on the SF peninsula in

I mean there has to be affordable places someplace in the SF bay area?
I'm just coming to an understanding that if you're frugal or rich daddy it should be fine?
It’s the most expensive cost of living in the US. You could potentially be better off if you are willing to find a roommate or have a partner or spouse with a separate income. But if you are single and want to have a place on your own, it’s going to probably be pretty rough.
