I finished my MMPI and Physical in the last couple weeks. I called HR today and they said I’m fully cleared just waiting for my list at this point

Got my list yesterday. Torn between AGC since I grew up in Pittsburgh and also ADW since me and the girlfriend always wanted to live in DC. Any input?

Funny enough I have been to both areas often. I have been to the Pittsburgh often since the ole lady went to school in the area. We actually enjoy NW PA even though it gets COLD AF and as you know I consider it really “hilly”. She mentioned the area where the airport is located (isn’t the best), but you clearly can live anywhere in or outside of Pitt, it’s has a lot of suburbs.

As for Andrews, It’s an Air Force base close to Alexandria, VA. I actually have a brother living in the area now. It’s pricey since it’s close to DC, but it has alot to offer. Also to note VA has some
crazy ass vehicle tax to my understanding lol.

I would check out this forum for check out/success rates, i don’t see them being low considering they are level 5s ??‍♂️

Obviously we are just listing them in order of preference and the FAA gives us the final answer. So I would put them as your #1 and 2 respectively where you see yourselves more and hope for the best.

Agc, quicker check out. And the cost of living isn't too bad in the burgh..... I've heard some not so great things about Andrew's and training. Also, if you want to transfer I've seen agc do it quickly

This website has success rates. Just look up the facility in the search bar. It tells you pretty much everything you need to know: pay, staffing, training times, success rate.

Transferring is a big part of it. I’m afraid I would get stuck in Andrews and I’d rather not spend a whole career there.
