Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-23-ATCEXP-82723 (Prior Experience)

Have you by any chance sent them a Statement of Service yet? I got my EODS the day after I sent them that (not sure if it was that or just the timing)
I haven't. I do have one I can send but I'm still not quite at 120 days from terminal. How close were you to terminal when you sent yours?

I submitted my statement of service 2 1/2 months prior to terminal. Again, maybe the timing was just a coincidence but I got it the day after I sent it.

Timelines are different for everyone. Here is mine if anyone wants to use for reference.
It's wild to me that you didn't even start the process until 9 months after me, 2 months after I'd completed everything and you still are gonna be at your facility before I likely even receive a list. The logic is non-existent lol

Largest difference between you to is he had to do additional stuff for medical, which normally throws atleast a 6+ month wait on it.
Crazy that even providing everything to them in a very timely manner, it still set me back so far.

Yeah medical can be a crap shoot. I waited a year and a half receiving the same “awaiting flight surgeon review”. So I wrote my local congressman and within two days they came back saying I was approved.
I’m going through the same situation! What do I need to tell my congressman?

im prior faa trying to get on this BID...everything else got approved in under a month. Been waiting for medical even if IVE NEVER failed and NOTHING changed. They even asked me more trivial bs this time around like driving records and substance abuse even if ive never had trouble with the law or DUIs lol

Sounds about right

Finally got a list. I'm from the January 22' bid

If there’s not a line in there stating information provided is assumed to be correct but is up to the applicant to verify all information… I’d fuckin pick it then file a grievance when I “found out” it was an 8.

Imagine any other company providing a salary range on a job opening, you get hired only to find out on pay day they lied and you’re making less 😤

But no, yeah I’m 100% with boots here. It’s bullshit.

I mean come on people are moving and potentially making decisions based on that and it’s just wrong information.
I concur, at least they can cross check the levels. Not like KSN is a secret anymore like it was in ‘16
