Got confirmation of medical clearing on Friday. I was actually out rock climbing when I got the call. Luckily the guy I was belaying hadn't started climbing yet.
 
Looking forward to meeting everyone, been here almost 2 weeks now and it's incredible to see the transformation especially for someone like me with no avation experience going in to the academy.

When I started I had no clue what the difference between a B741-B744 (B747) was compared to a skyhawk (C172) and now 2 weeks later I can not only tell you the difference but we sit outside on breaks and identify aircraft as they take off from will Rogers. It's a lot of information but it's very fun and the instructors are all wonderful people. If you go and your instructor is G, you're gonna have a good time.
 
Im trying not to worry too much. But, I completed everything on my CIL at the end of February and im still waiting for a call.
Anyone else in this boat? Other bids went slow but I am seeing people with class dates after completing their CIL in March.

Timeline seems to largely depend on what region you're in. Have you verified the you have cleared security/medical?

Have they contacted you needing anything clarified? If not, I wouldn’t worry to much. I was basically your timeline and got the call last week.

I haven't heard from security on if I've received my conditional clearance or not. I updated them with a job and address change since filling out my SF86. I accepted a Federal Technician temp tech job for the Army.

I don't see you having issues personally. Though I dunno.

You've been in the military. Regulations are often subject to "interpretation" which basically means how they feel that day.

This was actually gonna be my second attempt at becoming a pilot. Was a non select with my last packet. Was planning on trying to do it on the Guard side and it looked like I had a really good shot if I got ZAN but alas I didn't pass the physical. Oh well.

My physical is on the flight surgeons desk so I'm hoping to hear this week if I clear or not. We shall see. I hope all goes well with your drug test and it goes quick from the AME to the flight surgeon.

Isn't that the truth on regulations? Always open to interpretation. I'm out the door though so no matter.

Flight surgeon emailed me today, said they are just about ready to clear me, just need an eye exam because I never had one after my PRK surgery. I assume things will move quickly after my exam tomorrow!

My conditional security clearance was issued on 1 Feb. Havent heard anything about medial. I did have to do second urinalysis because my first one was diluted. I dont think that would hold me back though. I am in the western pacific region.

No contact has been made be anyone since I finished all CIL requirements. If I dont hear anything in the next week or 2 I will start reaching out to my POC.

I just made an account today as I have loosely been following along on these forums but I am feeling like I am getting left behind and was wondering if anyone else is in a similar position or should I be concerned. I received my EODS on Feb 25th. Quickly submitted it and assumed I would get my CIL shortly after. Well It is April 10th and I still have not gotten anything. I have emailed my HR rep (LM) a couple times but have yet to get a reply. I called aviation careers and I haven't been able to get a hold of my rep through that either. I did ask about if they were going to confirm if my EODS was correctly received. The next day they confirmed it through my email, so that was good.

My question is, should I be concerned or are there others still patiently waiting like I am? Also any advice on actions I should do? I planned on calling aviation careers again today.
 
they can only send out a limited number of cils each month, i got my eods 1/31 but didnt get my cil until 4/3

I haven't even received my EODS! You're in good shape
