Myself and 5 others from ZME have in for ZJX. I put mine in mid September. If I'm not mistaken, I believe everyone else here applied after that.

We all knew it was coming after all the info came out yesterday. Still crazy to see ZME shatter the record for most transfers to a single facility on a single NCEPT. Please tell me it's even more ridiculous then it looks on paper, like its you, your 5 closest friends and you all work in the same area.

I hang out with two of them almost every week. I talk to the other two occasionally when I see them. Only one guy I don't really know because he's on the other side of the week. We have 6 areas, and there's only one area that doesn't have anyone going. One of them was my bartender in Jax in Arlington when we lived there years ago, so that's pretty kewl.

Was just told that my union leaders met with management and deviation requests are being requested to keep the category 1 releases here for a year

Vast majority of those will be denied. Requesting to deviate from 3 months to a year will almost certainly be denied.
PS. Your ATM is a POS

In terms of advice, while I don't think it would ever be approved, get with your RVP and let him know it's coming so he can combat it from above.

Any idea on if there’s been much deviation from the cat 2 12 months? If both facilities agree to a release date inside of the 12 months?

CAT 2 is not a hard date it's "within 12 months", if both ATM's agree on 3 months for example, you'll be released in 3 months.

Well my union Pres and VP met with the ATM and that's what they agreed to do. Not sure what RVP stands for haha sorry I'm terrible with acronyms
